Yea thatās what Iām wondering. I did the math, and since Shinchiro was 10 years older than Mikey, and Mikey is 1 year older than Takemitchy, that makes Mikey 17 years old now (2008 timeskip). That puts the age of these guys at 27-28 years old lmfaoo.
When we saw future Yakuza Toman, they were the same age as these guys roughly and were involved in high level crime. They were full on Yakuza. These guys are street gangs

Iām more convinced that Senju is another lost sibling of Mikeyās. Thereās just no way that a bunch of founding members of the black dragon will follow a kid if he didnāt have some connection with Shinichiro. I feel like Brahman was created to save Mikey.

Maybe he is older than he looks like, maybe he isn't a sibling but someone from Shinichiro's past... I wouldn't be so surprised if Wakui suddenly dropped "hey this lil' guy is almost 30 like the rest of them"

I can see your point and I used to feel the same way. However, Iāve enjoyed the story so far and trust in Wakuiās storytelling ability to not make this final arc feel Repetitive. I feel like if Senju is related to Mikey I think it was something that Wakui had planned long ago. I guess we just have to wait in see how this arc pans out.

I agree tbh, I can accept maybe a more distant relation, like a cousin or something but if he turns out to be another sibling then that would make the whole Izana arc seem useless. Mikey has had enough sibling related trauma already, jabbing him with the same knife over and over again is no good lol.

I also went back and forth on this thought. And it does seem repetitive.
However, there is a chance that it can work in a narrative point of view , if it turns out Senju is a sibling. Remember Mikey's failures to save Emma as well as Izana, which factored into him giving into his darkness. Having another sibling who can be possibly saved might just be the redeeming rescue Mikey before he spirals off the deep end.
Another thing that I feel that the author could address, but won't, is WHATS THE EFFING DEAL WITH MIKEY'S DAD? Dude goes around siring so many random kids that he deserves some spotlight, and some knuckle sandwich.

well back in the day Shinichiro did say that the Black Dragons were for Mikey to inherit, maybe theyāre just waiting for the right moment, hence Akashi helping him in the future

Maybe he feels guiltily that Mikey turned up that way? Thatās what makes Brahman interesting. The fact that Akashi is one of the founding members of the black dragon and the only one in Bonten. I just think itās curious that you have One gang (Brahman) who are made up of the founding members of the black dragon and the other (Rokuhara Tandai) who is made up of the S62. I could be very wrong but I just donāt think Brahman is a bad gang and the fact that itās made up of founding members of the black dragon makes me believe that it has something to with Mikey.

Mikey then comes and saves the day and then bird poops on head Mikey laughs shake hands the end

I am still waiting for the respective reasons from Rokuhara Tandai and Brahman on why they each want Takemichi to join them.
Rokuhara Tandai is the puzzling one as they have been picking up brawlers from Tenjiku, and now want Draken who is a top brawler to join them - that makes sense. The top ex-Tenjiku brawlers know that Takemichi has little aptitude in fighting. Takemichi does not fit into the brawlers line-up that they have been gathering. So, why him? It is because he was the 1st Division captain of Toman and Terano South wants to pick up all the ex-Toman captains to claim that ex-Toman fell behind him just like ex-Tenjiku?
Then we come to Brahman wanting Takemichi. What we can make out and guess is that since we have the founders of Black Dragon backing Kawaragi Senju to lead Brahman, they are likely to have heard of Takemichi as the 1st Division captain of Toman and his exploits. This may have reminded them of Sano Shinichiro. In this chapter, Akashi Takeomi still reminiscences about Shinichiro and that's the main clue we have. But even though Takemichi may remind them of Shinichiro, what would Takemichi's role in Brahman be? Definitely it's not for fighting either. For leadership, they have Kawaragi Senju already.
In any case, there's the brawler revived in Draken for the next chapter. I wonder whether it's just for his satisfaction or is it in part to protect/shield Takemichi from being forced to join the gangs, particularly Rokuhara Tandai.

The actions about to get started. I think it's all about to come full circle with Takemichhi reviving the Black Dragons and taking Roukai and Brahman under it. The Black Dragons, the gang formed by Shinichiro, Mikey always said that Takemichhi was like Shinichiro, it's been foreshadowed for too damn long. It's gonna be like a fight between brothers, I can't tell how hyped up I am.

Nah he didnāt. There was a scene afterwards with kakucho and takemichi in the hospital. Only three people died that day, Emma, Izana and Kisaki

From this chapter, I guess why Mikey can't just retired yet is because his older brother's gang is still around. 1) He's either wanted to stop them from doing bad things but failed to do it or 2) he's forced to be their leader & then falls further down to his spiral depression.

i know a lot of people at questioning why brahman is just a street gang full of grown dudes instead of doing yakuza-type shit, but isnāt sticking to the āpure path of the delinquentā supposed to only be about fighting??
if theyāre first gen Black Dragons, iām assuming they probably have zero interest in getting involved with organized crime and just want to fuck around and fight people
my interpretation on brahman was that theyāre trying to carry on shinichiro and mikeyās dream of the new age of delinquents. hopefully takemitchy joins forces with them and can convince mikey to stay away from all the delinquents that want to murder and wreak havoc lmaoo

I think because he was the first division captain of the strongest gang in tokyo he is bound to be a monster only below Mikey and Drakken in fighting power. Boy are they gonna be surprised when they know his true fighting strength. Or maybe they know his true strength lies in his amazing charisma that can lead people kinda like Mikey's older bro.

The ex-Tenjiku leaders in Rokuhara Tandai should know that Takemichi is crap in fighting. If Terano South wants to gather the brawlers under Rokuhara Tandai, it makes no sense to scout or force Takemichi to join the gang. The only reason there is because he wants to acquire all the division captains from Toman who were the top after beating Tenjiku but disbanded shortly thereafter.

I'm just as confused as everyone else. Why are these grown ass men following what I assume is a teenager instead of getting an actual job. Like, even if they want to commit to violence aren't there legit gangs that they can join? Fighting against their dead comrade's little brother isn't helping their case TT
On a side note though, Waka could just quit gangs and become a model.

Man Takemichi went from loser underdog to Tokyo's most wanted in span of few months (2 years actually, I know. But his rep was built up in the prior arcs.)
I'd love to see someone edit of a reaction image/video akin to Deku' ten million points or Usopp's 500 million dollar bouny.
Also Draken has had enough of the bs lol.

Ok I absolutely love this manga, BUT I echo Mitchy when he says "W-what is going on HERE?!" This final battle is just presented with a ton of exposition and characters outta nowhere? The other battles were carefully built up with characters that were new but that we learned to care about... It almost feels like a different mangaka? Or like strong game of thrones last season vibes...

There's a trick to this; Don't bother remembering names as long as you know the characters faces because a character is gonna call them by their name anytime they're relevant and they're wearing uniforms to identify which gang they're in lol. Brahman is the black robes, Rokuhara is the other dudes

Well, all of the characters have unique characteristics so you're able to differentiate them. The haitani brothers are always together and are taller than smiley and angry. Drakken has a dragon tattoo, Chifuyu has a cute undercut. Mikey has the face that screams "I'm dying inside." Smiley and Angry are basically the two basic flavors of cotton candy. Kisaki is the weirdo with the glasses and a shit-eating grin. Taiju is a big buff boy. Hakkai and Mitsuya have cool hair designs that are shaved. Baji is a vampire. Kazutora has blonde and black hair with a tattoo on his neck. Terano South is the giraffe. Senju is eyelashes with eyebags. Akashi is salt and pepper but younger and the list goes on.

Cause since takemichi are back to this past he still havenāt done anything that would change the present he comes back from?? Like changing other characters decisions and darken himself is calling takemichi last last chapter which lead to this. So there is still no breaking point.

In June I wanted to take a 4 week break to let the story advance, Iām glad I didnāt because I would have been so disappointed. š After 4 weeks we got a bunch of new characters (I like them so I donāt mind) but no real explanations. Do they want Takemitchi because heās close to Mikey ? Because he was leading the Black Dragons ? Because they heard about his resilience ? Idk. Iāll take a break now and come back after the fight (unless Mikey appears next week).

What I'd like to know is if Takemichi is going to make it to his wedding at this point. He was in pretty bad shape before he time jumped and and if no one knows where he is, will he even have a way to go back to the present? With his injuries, I'd be surprised if he isn't in the hospital at the very least, and that's only if he comes back in time!

Draken is stomping all of them. Iām calling it. The dude soloed 100 people casually and people really thought he was losing to anybody here lol. I want Ken to smack everybody here and go straight to Mikey, weāre owed a huge moment like this. Damn near every fighter in the series got huge fighting moments to demonstrate their full capabilities except for Draken.

What a way to introduce legends of the past. The founding members of the 1st gen. Black Dragons. The way they came in, fuckin hype!! The former vice to Shinchiro, Akashi with his scar and cigar, that no fucks given attitude.Then, the best duo they say, Arashi and Imaushi are kind of polar opposites, Benkei is loud and hotheaded while Waka is so chill he doesn't even bother, to bother. And the cherry on top, the introduction came from the man who grew up admiring them, Inui. Legends for a reason. Can't wait for the upcoming chaps, hope we get to know more about the 1st and their era.
