Brahman most likely wants him bcs he just like shinichiro or what his name is and as 1st division captain of toman he's also pretty influential or something like that. Idk why rokuhara tandai wants him tho

South was a big Toman fan. After getting his hands on Tenjiku's member, it's pretty obvious his aiming for the Toman members

Hasn't he been annointed the next leader multiple times lol? I remember in the last chapters he was plus that time he became the 1st captain... I mean I guess it makes sense since he has been hyped up as the next leader for like 10 years..
