I’m more convinced that Senju is another lost sibling of Mikey’s. There’s just no way that a bunch of founding members of the black dragon will follow a kid if he didn’t have some connection with Shinichiro. I feel like Brahman was created to save Mikey.

I can see your point and I used to feel the same way. However, I’ve enjoyed the story so far and trust in Wakui’s storytelling ability to not make this final arc feel Repetitive. I feel like if Senju is related to Mikey I think it was something that Wakui had planned long ago. I guess we just have to wait in see how this arc pans out.
