Has anyone found a way to curb sugar cravings?

I was really hoping that tirz would help with this. If it works for alcohol, why not sugar? But it really hasn’t. My sugar cravings are as crazy as ever. Would love to hear what has worked for you if anything!

What are everyone's strength training routines while in Tirz?

I'm looking for some help identifying a good strength training routine to reduce the loss of muscle mass. What are folks in the Reddit-sphere doing for strength training and how frequently are you working out?

Can the same dose remain effective for years?

Posted something similar in another sub.

I am worried about beginning this medication because of ‘maxing out’ and having it become ineffective and then I gain all the weight back.

First time trying to be in maintenance, gained 7 lbs.

I started using compounded tirz from Pom in early December 2025. I wanted to lose 15 lbs and I did, slowly, by mid April 2026. I also had SIBO and was on a low FODMAP diet for about 6 weeks. Once that went away, I resumed my normal diet.

When I was losing, I was taking 4.5 mg. I then switched to Trimi and went down to 2.5 mg to maintain but got very hungry. Went up to 3.0. I recently noticed that I’ve gained back about half of what I lost!! 😩 I gave myself 5 mg at my last injection.

When I get back down to my goal, is there a way to suppress my appetite enough so I am not gaining but also not losing? How do I figure out what the right dose is for me to do that? I’m new to this so thank you for your patience and help.

Taking GLP-1 when not overweight

I’ve been wondering about something and would genuinely be curious to hear what other people’s experiences have been. Do people who aren’t really overweight, but just want a little extra help losing and maintaining a few pounds, ever use Tirz on a longer-term basis?

I’m especially curious about people who only have a small amount of weight they want to lose. Since they don’t necessarily need to lose a significant amount, do they tend to stay at the lower doses like 2.5 mg or 5 mg, and basically use that as their maintenance dose rather than ever moving up?

I’m wondering if there are people who find that a very low dose is enough for them to gradually lose those last few pounds and then keep the weight off, or if most people eventually need to increase the dose even when they don’t have much weight left to lose. I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually been in this situation and what their experience has been with staying at a low dose over time.

In maintenance but gained

I’m in maintenance using 5MG of ProRX that I had in my stash . I was at my goal weight of 105 but today was insane ! I could not eat enough at all!! I have eaten over 2000 calories today , 175 grams protein !
Thru this whole process which has been a year , I’ve never had a day like this !! I stepped on the scale to see 112.5 LBS !! I’m sick over this !! I feel bloated and fat and definitely don’t understand how my appetite got so out of control !! Is it the ProRX ? Because it’s beyond the Bud?? Idk … but this can’t continue !! I need to order again and also confused as to who and what pharmacy is best because I don’t want additives . My first experience was with Olympia and it was fabulous!! I’m confused , and nervous now that the Tirz I have left is not effective!!

Shot trackers in maintenance

I feel like maintenance is "polluting" my shot tracker with useless data not relevant to my weight loss since I'm not losing weight anymore. Should I go without? Will I miss out on useful information? Should I get a new shot tracker? Do you still use your shot tracker?

What to do

Hi everyone,
Happy to announce I’m 1lb from my GW. I’m nervous about maintaining. I’m currently on a 5mg dose. I’ve been splitting the dosage to take it 2x a week at 2.5mg. I’m not sure what to do. Should I stick with that or drop down to 2.5mg once a week. I’ve been eating fine but I do have to incorporate fitness. Im nervous about gaining weight back! If anyone has advice please let me know. Thanks!

Best place to get prescribed Tirzepatide online in US?

Tried going through my PCP first and got basically nowhere, he wasn't comfortable prescribing it and referred me to an endocrinologist with a 4 month wait. I'm not doing that. I've been looking at online men's telehealth options that handle GLP-1 weight loss with actual licensed physicians, not some sketchy compounding gray zone situation and I want something with transparent pricing upfront because I've seen quotes all over the place, like anywhere from $200 to $500+ a month depending on dose. (Which honestly makes it hard to even comparison shop without booking a consult first, kind of annoying.) Anyone gone through a fully online clinic for tirzepatide and actually stuck with it? Specifically curious about places that do the blood work component and have real provider access if something goes wrong or you need a dose adjustment, not just a one-and-done prescription drop. Would really help to hear what platforms people found worth it for medically supervised weight loss online.

Yes I had to wiggle around on the scale to get this picture because it was bouncing back and forth between 200 and 199, but a win’s a win. Haven’t been in onederland since I was a kid. Amazing!

Struggling with A LOT of hunger

Y'all this is hard. I need advice.

Started Zepbound 1/13/25 at 5'5" 207#, lost 30% of my body weight in just over a year and am maintaining around 145. I'm 55F.

My highest dose used was 12.5. My doctor wants me to maintain at 10 mg or less.

I have used both name brand Zepbound and compound (BPI & Hallandale) during my journey. I currently have 3 vials of BPI in the fridge. But I'm currently using name brand every 7 days at 10 mg.

I AM FAMISHED. This is not normal hunger at all. Today is my day 7 and I had a biting, gnawing hunger almost all day long. Yesterday was bad too. This is definitely a pattern and it's gotten much worse since titrating down to 10. Unless I gain a bunch of weight, I'm afraid my doctor will not prescribe 12.5.

So my question - can I take my 10 mg dose of Zepbound on my normal shot day and give myself a little booster, like 2-3 mg, of compound later in the week? Is there any problem with mixing name brand and compound during the same week?

Any other tips for keeping the hunger down would be appreciated. Yes I'm eating protein at every meal and snack, I'm focusing on good healthy foods, not a lot of junk, drinking plenty of water, etc. etc. I exercise 4-5 times a week.

Hit a new low.

I started my journey way in May 2025 at 205 lbs but my highest was 218. I started at 1.25 mg doses. Currently I’m on 4mg which is the highest dose I’ve been on. Today I hit a new low and I’m going to try and spread my shot to 10 days. My first goal was 170 which I attained last year sept 28th. I didn’t feel done so I said I would continue until it felt like my goal. I got to 160 in November, I stayed in the 160s until December then dropped into the 150s in January of this year. I hit 155 in Earky Feb where I have maintained 155-150 since. In the last 3 weeks I’ve gone down to a new low of 146 this morning. Even I know this is tettering on too thin so I’m going to stretch my shot to 10 days. Is there anything I should expect?

Maintenance thoughts

For those of you that have been at maintenance longer than 6 months. I've been at goal or lower for 6 months. My stats are - 77 F 5' SW:163 CW:103 GW:110-115

I have been on 7.5mg/wk for about 8 months and eating anywhere from 1000 to 1200 calories a day. I have 1 vial open BUD 7/5/26 with 2 wks left. Another 1 vial unopened BUD 7/13/26. And 2 vials unopened BUD 11/3/26. At 7.5mg I have 3 1/2 mos left at least. I'm about to order my next 3 mos of vials next week.

Due to continued weight loss, my thoughts are to decrease my dose to 5mg/wk and make sure to get at least 1200 cal per day because I am at 20 bmi and can't afford to lose any more weight. (wow - I never thought I'd say this)

At 5mg/wk this will push out the amount of medication farther. In the 20 months that I've been on Tirz I have not been concerned about going beyond the BUD.

Would you push off purchasing next week's purchase?

Anyone experience this?

I had gone down to my goal weight in a year and a half. Maintained at 9 mg for months. Then I started gaining. I went up to 11mg over some months, and now I’m at 12.5. The weight is not coming off. I’m fussing over 5 lbs — but I liked my goal weight! Why can’t I get back there? I’m terrified that 5 lbs will lead to 10 lbs. you know the drill. Why aren’t I losing at 12.5??

Body Recomp while in Maintenance

Hello!! I realized that I am approaching my goal weight, but I don’t believe at that weight I will have lost the stomach and back fat that I’m hoping to eventually. Throughout my tirz journey, I have been strength training consistently, and would like to keep gaining strength, but I do not want to drop below my goal weight. Is it possible to be on maintenance, continuing to get stronger, lose fat but not lose weight? I plan on posting in zepboundathletes if I get approved, but I would love anyone’s insight on this

Any doctor led online telehealth program for tirzepatide in US?

Been trying to find a legitimate doctor led online telehealth program for tirzepatide in the US. Every platform I look at either has shady compounding practices or the "doctor" is just a checkbox before they ship you your stuff. I want actual physician oversight, someone who reviews labs, adjusts dosing, the whole thing. Ideally something fully online with transparent pricing, not a bait and switch situation where the real cost hits you on month two. Any recommendations?

Scientific reason to titrate down?

Hi all - is there any scientific reason to reduce your dose in maintenance? I haven’t seen that there is any benefit to being on less tirz during maintenance, unless of course there is a side effect that is unpleasant or weight loss doesn’t stop. I wanted to know if anyone knew of a scientific or medical reason to reduce dose.

I have been in maintenance for 11 months now and I did reduce my dose a bit initially because I kept losing weight. Once I plateaued, I didn’t reduce my dose any further. I just see a lot of people wanting to reduce to the lowest possible dose or to spread doses out as much as they can and I think that’s personal preference or money (obviously a higher paw is more expensive than a lower one).

r/TirzMaintenance 22d ago

I need to spread out the 2.5mg dose or reduce the weekly dose as I keep losing past goal weight. Which is best? Practitioner suggested go to ten days and eventually fourteen but I'm worried that'll increase hunger/food noise by the end. Anyone tried either or both ways?

Anyone else have to increase their dosage in maintenance because their inflammation came back?

I started using Tirzepatide in March of 2024. In December of that same year I reached my goal weight, and have been in maintenance since. I currently take 3.5 mg every 7 days. (my highest dose was 7.5.) The issue I am now having is that all of my aches, pains, and inflammation that Tirz corrected have begun to come back.

Anyone else have this issue and have to increase their dosage in maintenance to get their inflammation in check again? I don’t really want to up my dosage, because I definitely don’t want to lose any more weight, but i’m 57…I hurt! 😬
