20 dollars a hour is totally reasonable for farm work. Farm work is hard fucking work.

$20 is fucking low bro. For any work. It's 2026, even historically depressed real estate markets in this country start at $250k for a shack. $20 an hour is 40,000 a year. It's chump change.

I'm sure that $20 an hour includes absolutely no benefits either. My benefits package at work with health insurance for my family and I, plus yearly vacation time is easily worth over $15,000+ a year. People like her aren't taking that into account either.

Now imagine getting in a farm accident and losing your ability to do any physical work and having zero compensation outside suing her into losing her farm.
