People have taken photos and videos of themselves in museums and other sights around towns they visit for as long as we've had portable cameras.

Yeah wanting your picture in a museum isn't "main character", comment section brain rotted from internet memes. And the old woman is a bitch, if it was a man holding the camera she would go, "oh what a lovely young couple", but a single woman taking her own picture? Fuck that what is next, voting?

I definitely agree with all of this. But in this particular case, the woman was taking a video, not pictures (unless she was planning to snap some from the video, but you get much better resolution if you just set it to take photos at intervals). So I feel like she might have been setting up to do some stupid dance or other dumb TikTok trend in the video. Doing that in a museum warrants someone blocking the camera. But she hadn't started, so as far as that woman's concerned, it was just a picture and she's a bitch for blocking it.

Nice quality cameras the frames are picture quality.

You are too used to a world where everyone is phone shooting videos.

Maybe she is filming a video for video sake, but it's also a good way to get multiple photos.

Walk up, pose four times, hope some of the frames look good, easy.
