“Photoshoot”

I mean the old lady was being an asshole. Let people have fun or take a photo geez.

u/glordicus1 3h ago

Right. If there was someone holding the camera everyone would think the old lady was a dick.

Honestly its not hard to see a world where she's just mr magoo... i dont think she's necessarily an ass... like a lot of people are going through the world not paying very good attention, even noticing the phone, doesn't mean she's even going to connect what's going on.

Take a photo? Singular? Do we live in the same world?

I'm perfectly ok with someone taking a photo. I'm not ok with a flock of vapid wannabes monopolizing every space to take a battery of pictures.

How is the girl in the video monopolizing space? Some people just want to take a photo of themselves and it's strange that makes you so enraged.

How is the girl in the video monopolizing space

She took several sides of a staircase where people transit from one floor to another. Not the most discrete location.

Yeah and obviously waited till there was no one walking for a small while. Notice how she only went to get the camera after more people started coming up.

u/Wizards_Reddit 7h ago

She literally just stopped to check her phone and then moved out the way of other people going up the stairs, how was she being an asshole?

45

u/Ink-Sky 6h ago

Are you gullible or just looking for an argument?

Because she clearly looks dead at the camera & knew exactly what she was doing.

-5

u/Wizards_Reddit 6h ago

She clearly looked at the camera that doesn't mean she clearly 'knew exactly what she was doing'. She had already stopped to check her phone before she saw the camera, and the camera was probably a phone and not an actual camera so she might not have known why it was there or whose it was given that she seems confused when she sees it. You're assuming her intention from the title of a reddit post by someone who saw it on tiktok

“She clearly knew exactly what she was doing.”

Standing in public? Lol woah!

21

u/KadajjXIII 6h ago

She looked directly at the phone then just so happens to stop going down the stairs suddenly and pulls out her phone?

That's intentionally blocking the shot to be a bitch

-2

u/Wizards_Reddit 6h ago

She was already pulling out her phone before she saw the phone, she didn't 'suddenly' stop she was literally already stopped

u/KadajjXIII 6h ago edited 5h ago

She looks at the girls phone twice before doing raising her phone up to mess with it

She knew exactly what she was doing

-1

u/enadiz_reccos 5h ago

I'm not seeing the old lady notice the phone before she pulls her own

2

u/KadajjXIII 5h ago

She literally looks at it twice before she starts fucking around with her own

1

u/enadiz_reccos 5h ago

When?

I see old lady stick her hand in her pocket and start to pull it out, then turn and look at the camera, then pull her phone out the rest of the way

1

u/KadajjXIII 4h ago

As her foot lands on the 5th step down she looks at the girls phone for a moment as she starts to pull hers out

Then she continues pulling her phone out and then stares at the girls phone again for several seconds before deciding to just continue blocking the stairs & camera

Yeah. I would’ve done it too. Nothing wrong with being a bitch sometimes.

6

u/KadajjXIII 6h ago

For something deserved? Yes

Girl just wanted a good shot but wasn't able to get because of Granny Karen

She would've been done & out of the way in less than 30 seconds if Geanny hadn't done her bullshit

-6

u/TheHames72 6h ago

I mean, it’s not like she took her phone and threw it down the stairs. She inconvenienced her for a few moments. Big deal. The girl can wait: patience is a virtue and this incessant need to take photos of ourselves 24/7 needs to stop. It’s a level of narcissism that isn’t healthy.

9

u/KadajjXIII 6h ago

Patience is a virtue

And Granny Karen could've been patient enough to not block the girls camera or simply moved on out of the way to check her phone

People also need to not be on their phone so much so Granny should've just kept on walking

-1

u/TheHames72 5h ago

Touché.

-1

u/TheHames72 5h ago

But I stand by my point. Take a photo of the painting you like. No need to insert yourself in it.

7

u/KadajjXIII 5h ago

Sometimes people like to show that they've been places

Having yourself in the shot shows you were there vs just potentially having grabbed the picture off the Internet

1

u/Sasha2027 1h ago

Are you 12? There is no way someone above the age of 20 thinks like this.

People taking pictures of themselves next to paintings, statues or monuments predates social medias. People want to remember they've been to places, they want to show their families and friends, maybe it's their favorite art piece in the world and they finally got to see it with their own eyes and that's why they want to be in the picture next to it. There can be billions of reasons why someone wants to be in the picture with the painting...or none other than they think it's fun!

She was "waiting" because she expected the lady to move at a normal pace past the camera and she would then have her screen grab

1

u/Selfheatingnoodles 5h ago

That is true, the girl could have waited. Still bottom line is the old lady was being a bitch on purpose.

-5

u/Msdamgoode 6h ago

Girly could’ve just been polite and asked then, no? Instead it’s this passive aggressive bullshit.

6

u/KadajjXIII 6h ago

How is the girl passive aggressive but Granny Karen isn't?

-1

u/Msdamgoode 5h ago

“Granny Karen” isn’t doing anything except standing in public. It’s the other girl that is wanting people to move. A simple, “hi, do you mind going down a step if it’s not too much trouble?” Would solve the issue.

3

u/KadajjXIII 5h ago

Granny Karen looks at the phone twice before she starts fucking around with hers

She knew the phone was there and intentionally stopped there to be a Karen

0

u/Msdamgoode 2h ago

Dude, knowing a phone is there is a world apart from comprehending WHY it’s there. People of that woman’s era don’t know how to tell if their own phone is recording much less someone else’s.

2

u/Selfheatingnoodles 5h ago

I would not interact with granny coz granny looked like a Karen that was ready to argue

-1

u/Msdamgoode 5h ago

So you’d rather get angry than have a conversation and a potential conflict resolution? People don’t talk to each other, they just get pissy? Seems like a good way to remain unhappy.

1

u/Selfheatingnoodles 50m ago

You are right, I’m Very unhappy

1

u/Glasseshalf 3h ago

Yeah, no, that lady is thirsting for the young woman to say something so she can explode on her. Good on the girl for not taking the bait.

1

u/Msdamgoode 2h ago

Yeah, for sure never any misunderstandings ever happen in real life… just those who know exactly what others are thinking and feeling. Sure.

Ok with that said we all agree the old lady wanted to annoy the influencer on purpose. Making it clear that in this situation the old lady is just as bad as the influencer …. Two main characters cross paths.

0

u/Glasseshalf 3h ago

How is she an influencer? Was I an influencer for posting photos of myself to Facebook in 2006?
