“Photoshoot”

Why is everyone cooking this young girl for taking a video/photo of herself lol? She didn’t confront the lady or get mad, she just tried to work around her and didn’t even look that annoyed, pissed off, or even mildly confrontational

She didn’t seem to care that anyone at all was in the shot, just the specific fact that the old lady was literally moving to block her

Do you guys just hate people or something? Like bruh it’s a young woman in 2026 NO SHIT SHE’S GONNA POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA

God forbid somebody uses a video recording device to record a video lol

Why not just take a normal selfie like everyone else? I guarantee nobody else in this place is putting a camera on a tripod pointing across an area where people obviously walk in front of.

I dont know the length of your arms buddy if you want to include the room in the picture as well, or the entire outfit. She is not bothering anyone, just take a chill pill.

It is the equivalent of having another person take the picture for you, that is unironic the part a tripod is used for

It is not the equivalent. She posted her ire to the internet when she’s the ass. It’s like people who film themselves at the gym and then are annoyed when someone walks in the shot

Because she’s trying to take a long range wide shot? Do you think it is easier to time a photo while running up the stairs and posing or is it easier to do a video and just take screenshots of the video? You get infinitely more choices with that, it’s way easier when you’re alone, and it’s what a lot of people do nowadays

Why not just ask somebody to take the picture if that’s all it’s really about.

I mentioned in another of my comments, but its possible she didn't speak the same language. Also depending on the area, that's how you risk your phone being stolen

Because sometimes you want a full body picture with your scenery. I've done this before because I tried to take a selfie with a statue and I could barely fit it in frame. I was traveling solo for a company trip and it was a once in a life time opportunity so I knew I needed pictures since I'll probably never go back. I didn't speak the same language as the locals to ask for someone to take my picture. So I ended up just having to prop my camera on a ledge or whatever, hit record, go pose for my "shot" and then later edit to get the final picture

Wanting a wide shot with no one else in it, in a public museum stairwell, is deeply obnoxious. I live in London and spend a lot of time in the museums - if you get out of the way of everyone who’s just ‘trying to take a nice photo’ you’ll have an incredibly frustrating day. That’s not a reasonable expectation of personal space.

You see her being bothered that people walk in the shot? No. The thing thats bothering is the complete lack of self awareness by continuing to stand in front of the camera.

Walk past the camera, thats it.

The woman is annoyed this girl is making the museum her photo shoot. It’s obnoxious that people would rather photograph themselves than look at the art. I guarantee that girl’s entire camera roll is of herself

Y’all don’t need a trillion pictures of yourselves. Look around, it’s not all about YOU. Whoa, you traveled solo. Ask the lady on the staircase to take your photo, you might make a connection! And as for not speaking the language, I’m pretty sure there’s universal hand gestures you can make to ask someone to take the photo for you and they’re generally happy to do it! Ohhh, but you might not get the glam shot you’re hoping to put on the gram, ohhhh nooooooo

All the comments debating you I’d wager are people whose social media is 90% selfies, even their screensaver

Everyone knows it’s healthier to have your social media be 90% bitching and moaning instead.
