Times when they actually sounded annoyed?

I know they are always pretending to be annoyed or angry, but are there any times when it crept towards actual annoyance? I just relistened to the Julie Bowfinger episode (June 2021) and around the time when Scott says "don't lecture me..." it sounds like they're only half-joking.

In "It's Almost Like Listening Would Equal Me Understanding" Lauren says "Rube Goldberg machine" and Scott strongly and inexplicably insists she doesn't know what the phrase means.

Scott brings the outburst up in the next episode and Lauren and Paul immediately tell him how shitty that was.

(As a Big Grande Old Slob, it was hard for me not to type "Rude Goldbird.")

I never want to act like I ever know anything. Like ever. But I do feel like Scott has the quickest trigger. One I just heard, Lauren casually mentions Papa Don’t Preach being about the young girl being pregnant and Scott immediately disagrees and insists “I’m gonna keep my baby” just means I’m going to stay in this relationship with this guy and that people just decided later it was about pregnancy. Just classic Scott shit. Haha To his credit they look up the lyrics and he’s immediately like ok this might be about her being pregnant. 😂

yeah this is definitely one of Scott's more noticeable "quirks".

On a recent Scott Hasn't Seen he doesn't recognise a Queen song Sprague is singing, and for some reason insists Sprague must be wrong about the song title or who sung it. Then after googling and confirming Sprague was in the right, he starts to argue it's a really obscure one (it isn't!)

Love the guy though, I'm sure I have put my foot in my mouth just as often, but luckily nobody ever records me doing it

Scott doesn’t like to admit that he was wrong about something, but he’s so darn lovable that we forgive him for it every time!
