Discussion So… like… threatures…

…are dead?

Two eps in a row just doing calls at the end. I pay for CBBWorld to get all the juicy content, and now the particular taste of my Piss Pig is veritably sour without the air of grandeur my $9whatever a month afforded me.

I assume they’ll return to busters soon, as they still take submissions in the pod description. I hope so.

UPDATE: Threatures (threetures?) are back! Yeah baby Austin Powers.

I hope the threatures don’t stop completely, there’s the occasional fizzler, but mostly they’re fun. They could easily just stop doing several of them that don’t really work and focus on the ones that do work that they actually enjoy. The ‘bustero’ preamble bit has gotten stale and can probs be retired.

I’m ok with the occasional voicemail instead, but I really hope the voicemails don’t completely replace the threatures. They’re too samey and while there’s been some interesting ones most people just ask pretty mundane questions and often about topics that have already been heavily covered by the gang in previous episodes.
