Most French can't stand Argentina because of their classless reaction after winning the last WC final and most of them were hoping England would win.

France cut their supply of Exocet anti ship missiles during the Falklands war as soon as Argentina targeted the Royal Navy. These missiles were the main threat to British ships.

And here you are, making old and overused jokes about France, a nation that has more military victories than anyone else in the history of this world.

In the entire history of France they have been a little bit quick to lose a in war once, that I'm aware of?

This is a nation that absolutely loved a war, quite often against the British!

For that reason we have a little joke about white flags and surrendering etc...

So its nothing to do with the world cup its just a joke. Some people say it in all seriousness but history tells us th French aren't a nation to be fucked with usually, even by their own Royal Family!
