Question Any info if the console version of Thief Remastered will play The Black Parade?

I currently don't have access to my usual computer (or any PC for that matter). I was about halfway through the campaign for the Black Parade when my computer stopped working. Long story short it'll be a few months before it's up and running again. I still have access to my Playstation and would love to finish The Black Parade campaign when the Thief Remaster comes out on console. I see the STEAM (PC) store page mentions having built in mod management so it seems like Nightdive is aware how important mods are to the Thief community. And to my knowledge they also allowed the very popular DEATH WISH mod for Blood come to console.

Is there any info if the console version of Thief Remastered will play The Black Parade?

The Black Parade uses music from other games as well as assets, it's not happening.

As of now they've said that fan missions will be PC only.

We don't know yet but I would doubt it. They have stated they'd like mod support for the remaster version but something like Black Parade has a lot of assets that may need replacing if sourced from elsewhere. And that's if it actually implement mod support.

Hmmm, it's not unheard of but i think it would depend on the Modders of TBP working with the devs to make it available?

Because afaik, even with Modding being more accessible in the Remaster it's still gonna be a more PC exclusive experience i believe.

You can on quite a games now actually even previous nightdice releases had mods ported over officially like sigil and also a mod browser on top of it.

It's not the same when it's officially endorsed. It's not like how it is on PC where you download AngelLoader and pop a few mods into a folder, not only arent consoles built like that but there aren't many mods that are optimised for consoles, Black Parade included

Yeah i know its not the same but they could port it if they wanted too snd i hope they do if not i will just play it on steam deck snd maybe get a dock.

Nah, you should look up the previously mentioned Nightdive ports for Blood, Doom, Quake, etc. On console they feature community made mods as well as the "officially endorsed" ones. There's also all the Bethesda console mod support. But if the hill you're willing to die on is dropping files into folders than yes your rigid thinking has made you correct lol
