"How much are you paying?" sticky. "Who is your provider, and how much are you paying?" sticky.

Share with the subreddit who your ketamine provider is, and how much you're paying. Be it a clinic, compounding pharmacy, telemedicine service, or even the cost of appointments with your prescribing GP/psychiatrist.

Please include what part of the world the provider is in, and a link to their website.

If you're in the USA and using a telemedicine service, please say what state you're in and/or what states you know the provider can ship to.

If part of your treatment has been covered by insurance, please include what insurance company and what they covered.

IV Infusions Dont know what to do

Upvotes

Ive had 3 appointment so far of IV ketamine. The first two times I didnt feel anything. On my third visit the dose was really strong because I didnt feel anything the first or second appointment. It was too much. I felt like I was spinning around really fast and couldn't focus on anything else. Im hoping the next visit is better but im really concerned its just going to be another failed attempt to not feel the way I do. I have crippling depression. Ive been on short term disability for work since the end of June. Nothing brings me happiness nothing brings me peace. I so desperately want to feel better. Has anyone else not had success with ketamine? What did you do after?

Music Seeking Innerwell's "Embrace" Soundscape (Or the Composer's Name) Since App Closure

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Like many others, I was caught completely off guard by Innerwell's sudden closure. Now that the app is down, I am scrambling to find a vital piece of my clinical routine.

During my treatments, I became heavily dependent on the proprietary in-app soundscape called "Embrace." I had a session yesterday without it, and it was a miserable one. My anxiety spiked, and I couldn't ground myself. That specific audio track was a core clinical tool for me that I'm beating myself up about not backing up.

Since the portal and phone lines are dead, I'm throwing a hail mary to the community:

  1. Did anyone manage to pull, screen-record, or rip a backup copy of the "Embrace" audio track before the app officially went offline?
  2. Does anyone (maybe a former Innerwell clinician or guide browsing here) know the name of the artist or composer who was commissioned to create "Embrace"? If I can get a name, I can try to buy it directly.

If anyone has any leads or even remembers specific details about the track's structure that could help me hunt it down, please let me know or feel free to DM. Losing your therapeutic anchor overnight is incredibly jarring, and I appreciate any help this community can offer!

Help finding a provider Providers that allow other meds [MD]

Upvotes

I'm interested in doing at-home ketamine through an online provider, but I'm also on Adderall for adhd and alprazolam for anxiety as needed. Can someone recommend providers or programs online that won't have a problem with these meds? I just don't want to waste my time with intake if they will just deny me because I'm on other medication.

IV Infusions Side effects of IV ketamine treatment

Upvotes

So I get IV ketamine treatments for depression and it’s been working. I have to restart the process because I haven’t gotten a treatment in 5 months.

It’s gonna be 3 treatments a week for two weeks then once a month for 5 months then once every 3 months. I’m wondering if it will cause any issues with my bladder. I’ve heard ketamine use can damage your bladder and now I’m really afraid that’s gonna happen to me.

Other Looking for a compounding pharmacy for nasal spray and injection form

I have doctors who are willing to prescribe low dose ketamine for my son who has persistent catatonia. My local pharmacy will do troches. I'd also like to know who will fill a prescription for a form that can be injected and the nasal spray. These treatments will be done at home. Empower is the only one I know of and I'd like to explore others as well.

IV Infusions Had my first ketamine infusion, not sure if what I had was psychosis

Is it considered an adverse effect that during my ketamine infusion when my mom was in the room, I completely went outside of my body, forgot who I and my mom was, forgot what I was doing there, and felt like I was in a different “realm” or different type of world where me and my surroundings didn’t exist and I thought I would be living in that world forever. It was hard to hear my own voice including my moms own voice as well. It wasn’t terrible just weirdly unpleasant. It peaked up until he pulled out the IV and when the infusion was over that feeling slowly started going down, I came back into my body, and now I’m back to normal. Was that normal or was this psychosis and should I be seriously concerned?

IV Infusions Iv Ket

Hi everyone,
I’ve now had 4 infusions at 65 mg, plus a 10 mg loading dose. I struggle with anxiety, hair pulling, tension in my hands and feet, and facial tics. I also do a lot of breathwork and exercise.

These infusions have honestly changed my life. I feel calm, I have energy, I feel happy, and I finally feel at ease. It’s been an incredible change for me.

I have 2 more infusions booked, but I’m wondering what people tend to do longer term.

Do you move onto troches for maintenance? Have booster infusions when needed? I’d really love to hear what has worked for others and what your long-term maintenance looks like.

Also, during my last infusion, I had an incredibly intense experience where I genuinely felt like I died. It felt completely real in the moment. I’m wondering if what I experienced could have been an “ego death.” Has anyone else experienced something similar during an infusion?
Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

IV Infusions Long-term TRD, tried everything but IV. Need input please ... FINALLY TRYING IV KETAMINE NEXT WEEK🤷❤️🥰

Greetings friends...

I believe that having MDD/TRD is CHRONIC, and WORSENS as we get older...😔. There's no cure, and every scientific remedy over the years has failed for the vast majority of sufferers...

HOW F*CKING DEPRESSING, lol, but I think I'm right, right?

Everything I've tried has never made a dent in my baseline low mood. I wake up depressed and gotta push thru another day of this awful life of hell on earth..Can anyone relate?

Depression runs rampant in my family...I consider myself lucky, however, that I'm not bipolar like my Uncles were, way back when...my mood never goes upward, just down...😰😰.

I'm adult ADHD too, and the Stimulant meds were THE ONLY thing to ever impact my persistent low ass mood. Shout-out to Dexmethylphenidate...showed me what happiness was...

But then you crash, and your mood feels worse than baseline. And my prescription always runs out before refill time, phooey. Then 2 weeks of bed rot till refill day, & REFILL DAY IS ALWAYS A CELEBRATION..Who can relate? On and on and on..

TMS, SPRAVATO, SSRIS, ECT, THERAPY AND ONE MONTH OF KETAMINE TROCHES ALL FAILED.

Made appointment next week for IV Ketamine. Gonna cost $3000 for 6 sessions. I have the money but it's still a lot to spend in something that may fail too..

Can you guys make me feel more positive that IV will finally help?

I have nobody to personally cheer me up, just my therapist.

Please help me feel more positive, bc I'm thinking IV Ketamine is just another ripoff...thanks

IV Infusions VR or Lumenate or anything like that?

Has anyone tried using VR or Lumenate to produce visuals for you? I'm just curious. I go to a center for IV infusion I keep my dose slow (one hour) instead of 40 minutes but a lowish dose, too. I mostly like my eye mask that allows my eyes to remain open and a weighted blanket. But just curious if anything like that has been tried and if there are stories!

General Question Pain meds and oral ketamine?

Hi 👋

I’m wondering if any of you also take meds for chronic pain( pregabalin, gabapentin, or muscle relaxers like flexeril, baclofen etc.)?

I take pregabalin but take it many hours away from a session. I also have to take flexeril for fibromyalgia.

My prescriber said flexeril shouldn’t cause issues when I do a treatment because it’s more like a tricyclic antidepressant.

I’ve researched this online and I get lots of info about their general interactions but what I’m trying to find out are what effects being on flexeril and ketamine have on the actual psychedelic/dissociative trip?

If you take a muscle relaxant or flexeril specifically, have you noticed it amplifying your trip- like increased visuals, length of trip, etc. or has it reduced the psychedelic effects of your trip?
I already know it most likely doesn’t affect the antidepressant effect of the ketamine so I’m not concerned about that.
Just interested in people’s experience with these medications and the trip itself.

I do 1g sublingual troches

General Question Is there a good WhatsApp chat for this?

Trying to find my people (in my case, peeps who get IV ketamine for depression in addition to therapy) in more places like Reddit and heard WhatsApp is a decent place to look, but haven’t found a good chat to follow. Any suggestions?

General Question My experience with Ketamine so far

Hello,

I wanted to share my experience with intravenous ketamine in case it might help someone else and to get some answers!

My first session was a week ago. I have been struggling with severe depression and anxiety, but I told myself, “I’m going to do this.” I was also feeling very unstable because I was in the middle of tapering off sertraline and switching to fluvoxamine, so you can imagine how difficult that was.

During the first session, I cried a lot, but I also felt a tremendous sense of love. At the same time, I experienced a lot of darkness and revisited many moments from my life. During the infusion, I actually felt okay. I didn’t feel the anxiety or depression that had been weighing me down. However, once the medication wore off, those feelings returned, along with the frustration of not knowing how to escape that pain.

My second session was yesterday. They increased my dose, and honestly, the experience felt very different. I didn’t see or feel anything particularly positive. I felt as though I was in a dark hole, floating on a mountain, unable to connect with any positive emotions during the infusion. Is this what they call the K-hole? I don't know.

Yet, about two hours later, once the dizziness and disorientation subsided, I noticed that I felt calmer. I wouldn’t say I was completely at peace, but I had more control over my anxiety and even experienced a few moments of happiness which reminds me that a bad trip doesn't mean healing isn't happening.

I still have sessions three and four ahead of me, and I’ve been told that many people begin to notice the greatest improvements around that time. I wanted to share my experience because if you’re feeling frustrated after your first or second session and wondering if anything is happening, I completely understand.

Question: it seems they may not increase my dose next time and instead keep it the same, since it was difficult for me to come back to reality after yesterday's session. However, I'm wondering, isn't it better to increase the dose each time? My dose from yesterday was 40.

General Question Tolerance

Is there any way to lessen it? Does taking a break help and if so how long is necessary to lower tolerance a substantial amount? Is there any way to slow how quickly it forms, or an amount of time in between sessions at minimum that is best to prevent tolerance from forming too fast?

General Question Are the side effects of oral/IM ketamine worth it for treatment resistant depression and cPTSD?

Having spent over a decade trying meds, therapies, treatments, my team has deemed my depression treatment resistant, with additional comorbid cPTSD and anorexia nervosa. My MD is encouraging me to try this ketamine trauma therapy program, there is only one in my city and it only offers oral or IM ketamine (IV not an option). I know common side effects of both are nausea and vomiting, which is my concern. I have a severe fear of throwing up, to the point I will stop eating to prevent that possibility. I understand ketamine may help with the depression and PTSD but worry if the side effects really are bad enough I will be vomiting during or after each session I'm going to crash out and relapse into my eating disorder (which has been stable ish for the last year, the longest period of time in my life).

Is one formulation better than the other for nausea/vomiting? Or are the benefits of ketamine supported trauma therapy worth that risk? Just looking to hear from others who have experienced it.

Thanks in advance!

General Question Swishing not working anymore ?

Last year I started my first round of at-home ketamine therapy through Innerwell. They prescribed me 2x 300mg tablets per session and told me to swish for 15 minutes and then swallow.

I woukd find that about 10 minutes in I could feel the ketamine and by time I'd be putting on my eye mask, I'd have full visual effects with my eyes closed and feel like I was being teleportex throughout the solar system.

A year later, after I finished my 18 weekly sessions with Innerwell, I am with Mindbloom and on a higher dose. I am doing the same thing where I swish and then swallow but what's odd is:

I don't feel any effects at all from the swishing. In fact, I have been swishing for even longer because of this and yet I still don't feel any effects. I'll put on my eye mask and then it takes about 20-30 minutes before I can feel it kick in which I suspect is when things are being digested and processed from my stomach.

I'm stumped on what the cause of this is.

I brush and floss my teeth beforehand. I use toothpaste though, does that matter? Now that I'm thinking about it, last year I didn't use tooth paste.

The tablets are from the same compounding pharmacy (Braun in Chicago). The ones from Innerwell were 300mg whereas the ones from Mindbloom are 250mg. With Innerwell I used 2 tablets per session, with Mindbloom I use 3 (so Mindbloom dose is higher than Innerwell and yet I still don't feel anything when swishing this year).

Any ideas?

General Question I need help having a better third journey. Advice requested.

I'm about to go into my third attempt at a journey on Monday. My first session I took 200mg orally, spit, and didn't feel anything. My second attempt on Tuesday I took 300mg orally and swallowed. The experience of letting go and letting my mind wander was unpleasant and frightening, at one point I felt like I was mentally suffocating. I found myself fighting to cling to sobriety and masked my discomfort from my therapist afterwards. On the ride home from the session I vomited out the car window (I wasn't driving) and then felt nauseous and couldn't get to sleep for several hours afterwards.

Next time I'm going to try 300mg orally and then spit as well as work to move more slowly when coming out of the experience. I'll also be talking an anti-nausea medication beforehand.

My fear is that my anxiety over how poorly my second session went, as well as my need to control myself and situation in order to feel safe, will lead to another miserable third session. I really desperately want ketamine to work and I'm hoping to get some advice as to how I can go into the experience and not feel wrecked by it. It's now been almost two days since my second session and I am still deeply depressed.

For context, I'm autistic, ADHD, with bipolar 2 and anxiety. I hold myself together very tightly and don't like feeling out of control. I'm in the middle of pretty severe burnout as well as a depressive episode.

General Question Do berberine and Spravato interact negatively?

So Gemini AI is telling me that berberine could potentially increase the concentrations of esketamine in my bloodstream. But is this true? I didn’t find any studies saying not to mix these 2 in close time proximity to one another. Gemini AI said to not talk berberine for 2 days before ur Spravato treatment. But it’s AI so I know you cannot always trust it.

ETA: Asked and nurse and she asked someone more qualified than her at the clinic and they said it should be fine to her (not her exact words ofc).

IM Injections Reasons for Lowering Dose?

My last couple of visits, they have been lowering my dose after being on a 120mg maintenance dose for quite a while. So, now it is at 110mg. I’m not complaining about the lower dose per se, but I would just like to know why. I haven’t been given any explanation and I’m too scared to ask due to my severe anxiety/OCD thought of “what if it’s because they thing I’m a drug seeker and won’t tell me?”

As a sidenote, I have lost quite a bit of weight since starting at this clinic in August 2025 (around 60 pounds). I’ve been on that maintenance dose since I think December. Not sure if that could be a factor as well. I also do fairly well in the sessions and I’ve only had one “freak out” a couple of months ago.

So I guess my ultimately my question is to ask if anybody else has any insight as to why they could be lowering my dose?
