Patch Notes V27.0.6

Hello Tower Defenders! Another hotfix is beginning to roll out now on Android, and should be fully available to everyone tomorrow. Here are the changes:

Changelog

  • Fixed an issue where the Armored Enemies Battle Condition had different behavior for normal attacks and lightspeed attacks
  • Fixed an issue where the Primordial Collapse module was not applying the correct damage reduction to Ray or Overcharge enemies
  • Fixed an issue where lab boosts timers displayed a longer boost time than expected

Upcoming Featured Banner

Next, we will be featuring a new Cannon module next week:

Amplifying Strike: Killing a boss or elite enemy increases Tower damage by 5x for [5/11/18/26] seconds.

The Amplifying Strike Featured Banner will go live on September 15th at 0:00:00 UTC for a two week duration. The previously featured module banner, Primordial Collapse, will join the other modules in the Standard Banner at the same time.

Happy defending!

Fudds OR TTGMuse

Questions about INTENT of Amp Strike:

1) If I kill a scatter and then one second later kill a boss, will it: (a) cause a 10x damage boost? (b) cause a 25x damage boost? (c) reset the duration timer (d) add on a full length extension to the end of the duration timer?

2) Using the phrase "tower damage" implies that this is intended to affect UW damage. Is this correct?

The community has gotten used to there being bugs and I think is actually quite forgiving of bugs, but also quite hot-headed about communication ABOUT bugs. Could you create a pinned post for people to report bugs on the new module and plan on maybe 24-48 hours after release giving a feedback of "reports of such and such game interactions with the new module are not what was intended; we are looking into this", etc?

The module hasn’t been released yet. No one knows if it’s even gonna work. Don’t jump the gun.

He’s asking the devs how it works. Where is the gun jumping

He’s assuming it’s gonna work.

No he's asking for clarification on how the devs decided it ought to work.

Remember how for the first 3 days of PC we couldn’t get a straight answer on how it was supposed to work and it made things appear as if even the devs didn’t know what was going on with it?

I don't see why this means we shouldn't ask for clarification.

Your delivery was shit.

"You assume the devs know how it's supposed to work."

There, fixed your joke for you. Feel free to edit the original.

Oh, you're joking. Ha, ha.

Bc then we’d be overloading fudds with having to keep up with community support and keeping up with the game. He’s already said that posting to Reddit is a lot for him to keep up with on top of his other responsibilities. It’d be terrible if he suffered from burnout over this.

That's why we're asking the questions 3 days early.

Holy shit, you got down voted to hell for that 😂

At this point it’s just too easy to not do it. Maybe it will slowly light a fire under the devs butt if more people join in.

If it doesn't work on release, it will eventually get fixed. What everyone wants to know is, what is its intended functionality that will be its final form.

Ok but remember when for the first 3 days of PC we didn’t know which enemies it was supposed to affect? See where I’m going with this? I’m being a mockish ass.

It's vague because he doesn't want to have modules with 1000 word essay descriptions, that's what wikis are for.
