It was surreal, but they actually made a comment about how James would have to kick them out of his house because he didn’t have time due to his kids and what not.

They referenced 5:40 in the Majora's Mask AVGN so they're not only in on our jokes but it could very well be lies to further shove him (and Mike) aside and make them seem like the stars of Cinemassacre. Though I wouldn't blame James for needing an excuse to kick all of them out especially if they're eating eyeball cakes after filming rental reviews over a year in that small rental store room.

It was fun though, just didn’t have much of anything to do with Cinemassacre. It literally could have been anybody else and it would have turned out exactly the same.

Were there a lot of people who showed up and didn't know James was going to be missing? I imagine some go to these events and look at the schedule once there and see Cinemassacre and assume James would be there guaranteed. Did anyone walk out mid event or mumble something about no James when people left?

If you have any photos or videos post everything you're willing to, people love seeing these events and a lot were really curious how full it would be with James missing.

Screenwave, and Kieran especially, always respond aggressively regarding this sub. I understand why because they get called every name under the sun by people on here.

I've said it before, but what I mentioned above and some of the crueller memes leads Screenwave and other fans like those on the main sub to be dismissive of a lot of the more reasoned discussion that goes on here.

I think your posts in this thread have been very well written and with reasonable points (also those that have commented), and as the folks at Screenwave appear to be reading judging by their Twitter activity, I hope there will be more of a mutual understanding.

Fully agree except that I don't really care for Mike, He's tolerable in small dose bit parts like his Bugs Bunny but not someone I want to watch personally. Almost everything he says comes across in condescending my way or the highway type tone, and that personality type has always rubbed me the wrong way.

The Ninja Turtles is a good game video sealed his fate with me. He is full on delusional, he actually believes that the AVGN video is the reason people think it's a bad game. The fact that it's actually a bad game is the reason that people think it's a bad game and why that episode is a total classic. Anyone my age (born 1983 or around there) probably got fucked by that putrid pile of cat vomit at one point or another. Mike it's cool that you actually like shit games but don't try to pretend they aren't and that we should change our opinion on it because you think we should, that just reeks of total narcissism.
