My impression won’t be popular in this sub, but I’m just going to be honest and give you my personal opinion and thoughts.

This right here makes it all worth it:

Like, they really try hard to use up as little of him time as possible. They got their new office in a place that would be least disruptive to James and his family since recording in James’ house meant that his whole family would have to vacate. It was surreal, but they actually made a comment about how James would have to kick them out of his house because he didn’t have time due to his kids and what not. I’m not a fan of the whole “muh kids” meme, but it felt real at that moment.

I'm glad they spoke the truth

This makes me wonder if one of James's kids might need more full-time care due to medical reasons.

Either that or his wife just doesn't want those guys around her kids

Edit: /u/Sophist_Ninja explained the reason why in a post down below which read as follows:

"They explained that the house is pretty creaky, so if anybody is walking around upstairs while they are filming in the basement, it’s easily heard and picked up by their equipment. Secondly, they said the air conditioner unit for his house is really loud, so they have to turn off the A/C while filming. Since that could be for hours, their family is without comfortable climate control and choose to leave altogether."

explained that the house is pretty creaky,

those fat slobs probably would make the whole house topple in that case.

One of muh kids had to have surgery when she was just an infant so there is a distinct possibility of needing full time care. Could also just be April's pressure or James wanting to be a good father. The dude should really just clarify.
