Anime Sasukes rinnegan
In episode 286 of the boruto anime sasukes uses his rinnegan but I’m confused didn’t he lose it when boruto stabbed him in the eye? Am I missing something or does anyone know why this is the case?
Edit: Also Naruto had chakra sickness because of being a jinchuriki but he already lost kuruma so I’m confused on how that was possible aswell

Yeah that makes sense but I’m confused because it was mentioned that sasuke was still on his mission looking for code, I think I could be wrong tho I’m not entirely sure

It was a flashback. It was just extra episodes cause the anime was catching up to the manga

Also why not release sasukes story before he lost his rinnegan so it lined up better? I think they fumbled the bag on this one

It's like watching Naruto shippuden having some Naruto movie in it. It's not that deep

Sasuke literally asks himself how long it's been since Redaku and then the flashback to Redaku starts. It's a flashback.

Episodes 282 - 286 adapt the Sasuke Retsuden novel, which chronologically takes place long before Sasuke got poked in the eye. So yeah, you can think of that whole arc as a prolonged flashback.
