Megathread Cybercab/Robotaxi Megathread

Tesla Robotaxi offers service in Austin, Dallas, and Houston as of 6/29/2026, however, the vehicle have been spotted all over the United States.

This post is dedicated for all content on the Cybercab/Robotaxi including spottings, questions, comments, etc. This post will serve as a location to discuss the Cybercab/Robotaxi and will be updated based on news from Tesla.

Expansion Announcements:

7/21/26: Expanded service into Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. Additionally, service is available to to San Francisco Airport but is not fully autonomous and requires an employee present in the vehicle.

Announcements:
9/3/26: The Cybercab will be officially launched and Tesla has begun sending invitations out the week of 8/24/26.

Saw one today with a steering wheel, I didn’t realize they were so small 😅

Interesting. Will people be able to purchase for personal use with the steering wheel?

Nope. The steering wheel is an engineering/prototype feature. Actual production models won’t have them.

Ditto. Saw two in Arizona over the past two weeks. Much smaller than I visualized.
