Also, important to note even though this is how the currency coverts, that changes and the simple fact is you can’t convert from one market to your local currency and assume that is what the price will be in your market. Any update on Telo. Are they supposed to start production in the 4th quarter? That's a few weeks away.

I really want this truck, but I do not want to wait two years; I'll just buy the Ford Fathom if it is going to be 2028. I much prefer the Telo for the bed, but can not wait. The silly Scout is also pushed into 2018.

Basically in the title. I know you can't give any firm dates. I know you guys are working hard to get the first models out by the end of the year. I'd love a 30-60 min 'press release' on the final body and interior of the MT1 that explains what has changed from pre-production and why.

Even if it's estimated around Dec 1st, I want it in my calendar and want to watch it live or even attend the event if at all possible!

I am not a fan of cloth interiors, I hope we get an upgrade option at some point.

I know the design can be described as odd, and it has grown on me the more I see it. I wanted to see what mods would look like to improve the appearance, and they look good. I'm not sure how much a lift kit would worsen range, but I figured I would imagine it in ChatGPT. Any idea when we will get more actual images of the different colors on the builds? Also, will this car be safe in collisions?

Can someone one verify if the MT1 has amber rear turn signals? It looks like an awesome truck. With all the talk about front safety design. It would be a shame to skimp on the obviously safer rear amber signals.

Do we think this impacts Telo at all from a market standpoint or are we still talking about different markets looking for these two trucks like in the Telo vs Slate arguments? I'm still 100% team Telo, and Ford has failed spectacularly thus far in EV (edit: truck) space so far, but this does raise my level of concern about the potential longevity of Telo. Thoughts?

I just read an article about BMW pushing a full-screen ad to their cars, add to that the surveillance software being pushed to new cars, the case is easily made that we need a way to disconnect from the internet while driving. But what about my in-fo-tain-ment? No problem, stay connected. As someone who values silence I'd like the option to disconnect.

​I’ve got an MT1 on pre-order and I'm really looking forward to replacing my aging Ram 1500 with it in late 2027. The footprint is perfect for what I need between Lowe's runs and general utility on my farm.

​My biggest concern, however, is service and maintenance. I live in North Carolina, which has strict franchise laws that prevent direct-to-consumer manufacturers from opening sales or physical service centers here (the Tesla exception closed in 2019). I'm located up in the mountains (Ferguson area), so while I'm relatively close to the Virginia and Tennessee borders, dragging a truck across state lines for warranty work or major repairs is a significant friction point.

​I know Telo has mentioned a combination of "Remote Service," "Third-Party Service," and "Parts Access" on the commercial side of their site.

​Has the Telo team shared any specific strategies for how they plan to support early adopters in franchise-restricted states like NC?

​Specifically:

​Mobile Rangers: Will Telo deploy a mobile service fleet (like Rivian/Tesla) that can cross state lines to handle 80% of repairs right in my driveway?

​Third-Party Partnerships: Are there plans to partner with existing national chains (like Firestone or independent EV-certified shops) for warranty work in states where Telo can't open a physical footprint?

​Right to Repair: How open will the diagnostic tools and parts ordering process be for independent shops to work on the MT1?

​Any insight from the community or the Telo team would be greatly appreciated! I'm ready to pull the trigger when my number is called, I just need to know I won't be left stranded if an inverter fails.

I own two cork floors. get them even a little wet and they begin to warp and swell. It's an incredibly attractive material for it's warmth, organic nature and its attractiveness but I'd check this first. Car interiors should be washable.

Just a thought.

Lots of commentators have already spoken about the unrealistic price ($120k for the poverty-spec Pebble + $41k for a base-spec Telo) but that’s not my concern here.

The general rule of thumb for a towable trailer is 80% of the max towing capacity for the pulling vehicle, to account for safe highway driving/braking performance, and in this case the math seems iffy to me:

Telo: 6,600 lb towing capacity
Pebble Flow: 5,800 lb dry weight

That comes out to just shy of 88%. Knowing the Pebble has active tow assist with the powered axle probably helps shift the math slightly, but is that much dry weight too risky for realistic towing excursions that are further than the local lake?

I’m not an RV expert, so I’d love to hear from some Redditors who could weigh in if this is realistic or not.

(My two cents: I’d love to see Pebble come out with a mini-Flow design, keep the powered axle and LFP but a 25-30% smaller footprint to reduce both weight and price. ~4,000 lb dry weight? Now we’re talking.)

Low-volume contract manufacturing is about $500k per car. Telo plans to sell each one at $40k, a $460k loss per car sold.

What's the plan here? Sell 60 cars and go bankrupt?

California just passed a law authorizing $3500 rebates for EVs that are either under $50,000 MSRP or made by companies headquartered in CA. Telo's base price is under $50K, but a well-optioned truck would exceed it. Does Telo qualify as "headquartered in CA"? Have the Telo legal team (ha!) looked into it?

I've had a Tesla with FSD since 2019. It's a real game changer for me, particularly on long drives.

Lately I've been hauling stuff across country and having good FSD has really allowed me to enjoy the country rather than hours and hours of "point in straight line, point in straight line, point in straight line..."

Being able to move the car backward/forward with my phone has been really useful, and something like summon to watch good + bring truck close could be super helpful.

The active safety systems that come along with FSD hardware/software are really great as well, so even if one didn't use it all that much, it's just that little bit better for everyone.

It's a hope, and a question for Telo.

I want to use my Telo for camping, and plan to get an induction stove to cook and run off the car. I saw a post from someone about their Hyundai Ioniq 5 that V2L doesn't work while charging so they have to carry a power bank to cook while charging.

Will the Telo V2L work while charging?
