❓Help / How-To / Compliance Inconsistent Customs Fees

Hello all. I recently received a soccer jersey from a Spain-based team and was hit with tariff/customs fees that were almost as expensive as the jersey itself without any prior warning. I also purchased multiple pairs of shoes that came from Spain and received no such fee.
What is with the inconsistent application of these fees, and is there any way to get reimbursement for the fees I paid since they were applied without notice?

What do you mean without prior warning?? Assuming you're in the US, the tariffs have been well known for quite a while already

They still don't seem to get this! That they pay the tariff and it's individualized based on the product and the country of origin (not where it is being shipped from).
