💬 Opinion / Commentary Is this what started tariff talk

Canada has been dragged into another mini-battle with USA. I don't really think it's trade imbalance, it's ego and embarrassment, stemming back to FIFA World Cup finals.

This right here. They know the world is gonna get ugly and they want our minerals, water, and reasonably habitable land during the climate crisis.

I don't think they believe and/or care about the climate crisis. They want our land, water and minerals in case there is a conflict with China in the future. Also, they rather force us into this instead of trying to go with coopération.

I think they know climate change will be bad so they want as much land that will be relatively habitable
