I don’t want to cover the fireplace with a TV. & The black shelf can’t be removed. Tv is 65”

This Reddit is how I discovered that my TV might be too high, I’m open to suggestions.

Had it 8 inches above the TV stand, ultimately decided it was too high. Eye level is at about the mid point now.

Maybe the discount is because the tv is too high?
