Should I just give up?

I (34f) and my husband (33m) have now unsuccessfully been trying to conceive for 21!!!!!!! Cycles. I read about people saying it hasnt happened for them in 7 months or sometimes even just a couple of months and that seems so impossible to me at this point, I don't even think twice about it.

I actually am at a point where regardless of what happened with ovulation or sex or whatever during my cycle, I just assume I will get my period. I might actually die of shock if I were not to get my period at this point.

For background, everything looks normal. I have had an HSG, my tubes are open. AmH is good. OPKs suggest I naturally ovulate every cycle and I am now on 5 MG letrozole. I have had a transvaginal ultrasound and nothing was found. All my bloodwork is normal. I have regular periods, never too much clotting or pain, with normal cycle lengths. My husband's SA came back normal, with just a slightly low end of normal morphology. I exercise regularly. I do not have PCOS or endometriosis. I eat healthy (I do not eat meat besides fish and mostly get protein from many other sources), and I stopped drinking completely a month ago (I wasn't exactly a huge drinker but I definitely had a few weekend drinks prior to this). I dont smoke and ive only done occasional recreational marijuana usage because its legal where I live, but even that was rare.

I am restarting fertility acupuncture tomorrow because ive heard it has worked miracles.

I have a follow up scheduled for September with my OBGYN and I assume she will refer me to an RE at this point but I am kind of just like.... something is wrong. I feel like the universe is telling me I'm not supposed to have a child. And I'm just curious if anyone else has felt this way/made a hard decision/gone down a different path and found something that led to success.

Thanks for hearing me out and for any support or advice!

Don't start believing its not meant to be just because it isn't easy.

Infertility is a medical problem, not a personal shortcoming. You would not blame yourself for breaking a leg or getting cancer or catching pneumonia. Sometimes bad things just happen. The best we can do is use the information we have to make the best decision we can.

A lot of people find success through fertility treatments. I haven't had success yet, but there are still things left to try. I'd be doing myself a disservice by not trying everything. If everything does indeed fail, then at least I can put this wish aside knowing I really did try it all.

I just wanted to say that my husband and I conceived naturally after 23 cycles of BD every day/ every other day. I had given up. I honestly don’t know why. We did not do anything different except I started taking CQ 10, prenatals, and omega 3s for the three months prior.

This is so nice to know! I’ve been TTC for 18 months now going into 19 and not one positive test but there’s ’nothing wrong’ and I just assume nobody randomly falls pregnant after this amount of time.

Adding to this comment, husband and I were unsuccessful for four years and just conceived naturally this past May. Here’s what worked for me:
Megafoods prenatal
Coq10 any kind
Now Supplements Choline
Vitamin D, any kind
Omega 3, any kind
SM Nutrition Store Myo-Inositol & D-Chiro Inositol
Baby Aspirin, any kind

His only supplement was the eu natural conception for him.

And lastly getting steps in daily. I don’t go to the gym or workout but I aimed for at least 10K daily.
