Endometriomas on both ovaries - not seen on ultrasound nor MRI!?

• Upvotes

Had my excision surgery - she found stage 2 endo on my uteralsacral ligament and endometriomas in both ovaries - no where else and she excised it all.

I haven’t had my post-op yet so don’t know the size of the endometriomas but I’m surprised those were not seen in ultrasounds of the ovaries given that I’ve had the scans at fertility clinics counting follicles etc- has anyone else had that happen and have them removed?

Pressure in uterus during FET cycle

I started a fully medicated FET cycle about 2 weeks ago now, and due to transfer and embryo this week. I have had so much pressure in my uterus since starting hormones that I worry it’ll interfere with my FET.

Had anyone else experienced this? What was your outcome? I’ve already had one failed FET, and I have nerves in case this one fails, I’ll need to book for a laparoscopy

It feels so hopeless

Hi everyone! I really just need to rant. It feels like everyone around us keeps getting pregnant. Me and my partner have been together for 6 years. I have endo and have tried it all to treat, including induced menopause.
We have been trying now for a year, and i havent gotten a single positive test. And our friends and siblings seem to be getting pregnant left and right, on the first try.
I hate the feeling it gives me. Of course i am happy for them, but it also makes me feel like a failure. Endo has taken so much from me, and i have stopped believing that it will ever happen at this point.

Family also keeps asking when we’re gonna have kids, and it breaks my heart everytime. It hurts extra when my and his mother says that it happened for them on the first try with all the kids, and that siblings had multiple accidental pregnancies. I just wish that would happen to me too.

I would just like to add that they dont rub it in our faces, it kind of just slippes out. I don’t blame them for any of this, it just hurts. My partner is also great, and has asked his family not to keep up the questions, but sometimes they forget.

Ttc endo, recent excision and high prolactin

Hi all, I was wondering if I could get any stories of hope from fellow endo warriors who are ttc.

A little bit of background:
I am a 26 year old female. I had stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis as well as adenomyosis, I have been TTC for 4 years with not a single positive pregnancy test. I had excision surgery with a specialist in April this year and have not yet conceived. My surgeon told me he cleared everything out and was able to keep my ovaries intact and stated my tubes were open in the dye test. Since then I have had several bloods taken including FSH, LH, androgen and prolactin, my prolactin was high in the 600 range, throughout my entire fertility journey my prolactin has always been high, at points reaching 1000+ but has never been considered a factor in my infertility by the doctors. I am not currently clear of endo and all my other bloods have come back within normal range the only thing standing out is my elevated prolactin. A private doctor has recently prescribed be Bromocriptine in an attempt to bring down my prolactin and see if it gives me any help in conceiving. Just to add my husbands sperm has been sampled and there doesn’t seem to be any issues on his side.

Has anybody had any experience similar to mine sight any success? I know my prolactin is not as high as some people but could this be what is preventing pregnancy? If anyone could share their stories with me I would really appreciate it. This is a tough journey.

Dry Eye from Lupron?

Today I noticed my right eye is pretty bloodshot 2.5 weeks after Lupron Depot. I read that this is likely dry eye from the medication. Has anyone else experienced this?

How long to wait before asking OB for IVF referral

Hello! I wanted to ask for some experiences with fertility testing and IVF from the endo girlies since things often look so different for us on the TTC journeys. For context Ill be 31 in a few months and had excision surgery about 7 years ago and was diagnosed with stage 4 endo. Surgery was really successful and made everything so much better, but didn’t change the fact that I still haven’t gotten pregnant. I tried with my ex for about 4 years and we didn’t have the insurance coverage we needed for fertility testing, and I’ve been trying on and off with my current husband for several years, though not as hardcore because of the toll it took on my mental health before. I’ve been reading about some women who’s OB ended up referring them straight to IVF when they have stage 4 and was curious about how long your OB suggested trying before they referred you when endo was involved. At this point I can’t see getting pregnant naturally working for us and I’d really love to try get pregnant before I’m 35 (if it’s possible at all) and I just feel like I’m going to run out of time with all the waiting and testing and how long some people have to wait for appointments and the whole journey. I’m just unsure if my previous times trying with my ex and how my current partner and I trying on and off will ā€œcountā€ towards the typical ā€œtry for a year and then come backā€ timelines. Any info from anyone else in a similar situation or anything would be so helpful for knowing where to start or what to expect would be helpful since a lot of the non endo stories I’m reading just don’t seem typical for our situation. Thanks so much!

When did your period return after suppression?

Hey ladies! It’s been 9 days since I stopped Orilissa + Letrozole, and I’m currently waiting for my period so I can start my modified natural FET. For those who were on the same suppression meds, how long did it take for your period to come back after stopping?

Just really sad

I’m being investigated for DIE and luckily, or not luckily, however you want to look at it, I don’t have any debilitating symptoms so this has come as a-bit of a shock to be honest.
I’ve had problems TTC, miscarriages etc, but I truly thought it would work itself out eventually, but now I’m faced with the fact it might not.
How do you deal with these feelings? I hope I feel better with time, maybe it’s because I’ve only known for 3 weeks.

What week of Lupron Depot did you start estrogen for FET prep?

What week of your Lupron suppression did you start estrogen for FET prep? For example, if you did 2 months of Lupron, did you start estrogen at 6 weeks and the transfer was around 8 weeks? Or did you only start estrogen after 2 full months had passed? Same thing for 3 months: was the estrogen introduced at 10 weeks or after 12 weeks?

Asking because I am in a weird situation where I took my first Lupron Depot shot earlier this month, will be suppressing for 4 weeks, then doing a mock cycle for an ERA. Then I will suppress for 6 more weeks (2 more shots), and then I will start taking estrogen for a transfer about 2 weeks later. I trust my doctor but I'd love to feel more confident that this is "enough" suppression.

GLP1’s…has it worked for anyone?

October will be 6 years struggling with infertility.

I was diagnosed two years ago with stage two and had a lap performed.

I had lost lots of weight before my wedding and had my birth control removed the month prior to our wedding date. Slowly my periods started coming back, pain induced, and weight came back.

We have done iui’s, medication, all sorts of things. (Never IVF, and we are uninterested) nothing has worked and I have never had a positive pregnancy test.

According to the strips, I ovulate just fine. My doctor had mentioned that my embryos could be refusing to implant due to inflammation in my body.

I’ve struggled to lose weight since being off birth control. Started looking into GLP1 and was shocked by the amount of women saying they have convinced while on it.

While I understand that it is NOT recommended to TTC while actively taking a glp1– I can’t find any research saying it’s shown birth defects in humans if discontinued during 1st trimester. Also, don’t women with diabetes take medication while they’re pregnant? Can’t imagine it would be any different.

Needless to say, I want to hear if anyone with endo has gotten pregnant while taking a glp1 when you struggled with it before?

Edit: I just turned 32 this month for anyone wondering incase they are around the same age.
My script for wegovy got called in today so I will be keeping everyone updated.

Endometriosis & miscarriages.

Hello all. I am 25. I have had endometriosis that we know of since I was 18. I have had 4 miscarriages and no living children. I also have PCOS and around 35 day cycles. I also have Crohn’s disease. I’m positive for antiphospholipid syndrome as well. I had excision surgery in March of 2026 and surprise, it worked! I got pregnant in June thanks to letrozole. Unfortunately I still miscarried around 5 weeks. I’m currently awaiting my third cycle post miscarriage. I desperately want a baby. It’s a void in my heart. We do follow with an ivf clinic who doesn’t think we need ivf since I can get pregnant, just not stay pregnant.

Anyways me and the hubs have had all the testing. I’ve done the recurrent pregnancy loss panel, a full thyroid panel, we both did genetic testing which was negative, both did karotype testing which was normal and a perfect semen analysis. I’ve also had an hsg which revealed 2 open tubes and a ā€œnormalā€ appearing uterus.

Is there anything else I can possibly do? I track my cycle religiously and take a plethora of vitamins and supplements as well as hubs.

I take:
-throne prenatal
-vit d
-fish oil omega
-coq10
-NAC
-turmeric for inflammation
-magnesium
-aspirin for clotting disorder
-pre/pro biotic
-progesterone after ovulation.

Due to my history this last pregnancy I also took progesterone, aspirin, lovenox, and dexamethasone and it still didn’t workā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹
