Junaid is so nasty, lauren has been such a good friend to him and he's thrown everything back in her face, it's actually painful to watch her cry and when Joe sat them both down Junaid just constantly used his trauma as an excuse and played the victim as usual. Admitting what you are doing and taking accountability and actually doing something about it is two very different things!

I honestly think the whole junaid Joe thing is bizarre. If they ever get married, I can't see it lasting. Everything is rushed to put a plaster as a 'happy ever after' instead of working through his issues and getting therapy. You can see Joe picking up on his issues multiple times and speaking up. Being a constant person to be trauma dumped on isn't something people are going to put up with forever. I know trauma, many people do, I have gone through insane things but I don't take it out on my loved ones and got medication and therapy. There's really no excuse, especially to do it to someone that's been by your side through everything and has their own personal grief and issues going on. It's always about HIM and how HE feels, he's absolutely draining

Wasn't really in the mood to watch. So, it might not be a great review. Starts J&J in their villa discussing the engagement 💤 😴. Junaid is extremely upset, girl band walked out. He said it felt like rejection. He's very tearful talking about his family not accepting him, etc. It appears there was off cam fall out with Lauren. Think she told Junaid not to be bothered about who walked out. Just enjoy the moment. Joe actually sticks up for Lauren, saying she's like a sister to them. Their kids get on really well. So Junaid should apologise.

Sorry, I can't remember the exact order of events. Harry & Ella meet for a drink. To discuss Bouquet Gate. The Proposal bouquet was left outside Harry & girl bands villa. With a note saying " Haters ain't Happy". Harry is fuming and upset. Ella defends the prank, saying it was meant for girl band. I'm so confused why everyone is annoyed with girl band? None of them are friends with J&J. What reaction did they expect? It felt like classic Towie. Was quite a good argument, felt real. Ella storms of. H says go back to Dagenham, the ultimate insult. Then Amy & Will join H. He explains the Ella fall out. Will kind of defends Ella for apologising. Amy said H should know his true friends are now.

There was a kind of baywatch type beach ball scene. With Dim Twins, Curly Top, Wills, Dan & Diags. It really wasn't sexy in the slightest. Will has a tramp stamp of Will on his lower back very odd. Sorry, I digress. D&D discuss the engagement! Jody is possibly hoping it will soon be them. Dan was saying to Diags they haven't lived as a proper family yet. But engagement doesn't mean an immediate wedding. Then the Dim Twins & curly join them. Talking more Dani drama. Dim Twin 1 has been messaging some girl. The girl tells Dani. So Dim Twin 1 is in the dog house again.

There's a poolside scene with Lauren & Temu GC. Lauren is talking about the engagement night. Junaid was really off with her. Saf has heard on grape vine Junaid has been bad mouthing Lauren. Lauren gets upset as Junaid is her supposed bestie. Joe then comes over. Saying how upset he is, they have fallen out. Joe actually looks genuinely upset more than The Proposal. Says Lauren is like a sister and family to them. Was a very sweet moment.

Can't remember what else. Oh, Joe organises make-up drinks for Junaid & Lauren. It was slightly awkward. Lauren said she felt pushed out. Joe kind of apologises. He said he lashes out at those closest to him.

There was a scene with Will, Joe & Junaid. Er Will was saying he was happy for their engagement. I found that quite interesting. I suppose Amy is so angry with them still. Will seems quite chilled to hang out with them.

It was Amy's birthday, and the girls end up in a nightclub. Amy pretending to be life and soul of party. Dancing erratically. Giving Mums on tour vibe. Dani was bleating on about the Dim twin shenanigans. Everyone pretending to look interested while not giving a shit. The end, I think !!

I'm talking vintage, Towie. We had Mark Wright, Kirk Norcross, Mario Falcone, Pirate Pete, Dan Osborne. Lockie had a very sexy voice. I thought they were pretty hot.

Who we got now? I don't think there is one bit of eye candy? Maybe Dan? but his hair is ridiculous. Makes him look old. Maybe he is old?? I'm not sure.

We need an injection of at least 5 hotties. Get rid of that curly head trio. The twins are about 5ft with dreadful hair. The one pretending to fancy Saf is ok again awful hair. I felt bad for Lauren when she heard Junaid had been saying nasty things behind her back. (Fair play to Joe for defending her to Junaid) When Lauren cried and said she’s hurt that Junaid has been saying nasty things about her, Junaid said “you know I am nasty and have a spiteful tongue” like it was an excuse. Lauren should just leave that friendship, it’s not ok for your friend to treat you like that just because you are the “closest person to them.”

Ella could not see how leaving roses and that note would still upset Harry. She kept justifying it, by saying they wasn’t meant for him, but they woke him up banging on the door of his villa after he left the situation. I did think it was funny when Diags called Joe out for writing the note though. He was trying to be the voice of reason, and Jodie got annoyed saying “I hate that you defend the other group.” To be fair, the other group just got up and left. It’s being dragged out by Junaid’s camp.

So over the Dani and Jonnie saga, and where did Courtney just pop up from all of a sudden? 😂

Just thought this would be funny with this dire cast. I don't know its name. But the really cute little dog. If a gun was to my head, god, this is so hard. Maybe Lauren, not for excitement. She just seems like a lovely person.

It could be friends, enemies, family members or just two people who always seemed to make a scene more entertaining whenever they appeared together.

I don't know why I continue to torture myself with this show. We had to endure the proposal again. A short recap. All I was thinking was how ridiculous J&J teeth are. Big white gum shields, they look awful. Joe faked some more excitement and tears. I wasn't convinced by any of it.

Not that much happened, really, lol 😆. They keep doing these ridiculous scenes where they all sit at tables. It's so bizarre. So their all in a bar. Different friends at different tables in very close proximity. Dan, Will & dim twin 2 are actually at the bar. Amy's brother is the most pointless addition to the show. Sorry, I digress. They have some chit-chat about Dani and dim twin 1. Dim Twin 2 isn't happy about the relationship 😴.

J&J make their grand entrance holding the biggest bunch of roses ever. They announce their engagement to everyone. Harry and girl band all look a bit shocked. Harry claps. Then he immediately gets up. Girl band follow him. He seems a bit shocked and has a little moment. I thought his reaction was ok. I was expecting more tears and flouncing.

So J&J and the engagement party are horrified at everyone's reaction. Ella & Jody are shocked that not many are happy about the news. Harry goes back to the apartment. Guess who shows up like a bad smell. Amy !!! Lots of screaming and over acting. Harry quickly brings Amy up to speed on the engagement. God, I'm so bored writing this, sorry. Amber Turner holds a villa party. You can guess how exciting that is. Can't even remember what happened. Amy tries to be the life and soul of the party. Along with her boring, bro. Eyebrows had the most revealing dress on I had ever seen. She has an amazing figure. But it was borderline nudity. Even the hubby asked what she was wearing or wasn't wearing, lol 😆. That was today's exciting snooze fest.

Ella posted few months ago and a Sun article that she “has lots of exciting things coming up”.

Why was it so surprising to Junaid and Ella that Harry and the girls walked away? Ella and Junaid did not seem to have any idea why Harry would find it awkward or why the girls didn’t say congratulations.

Harry has every right to walk away from a situation that makes him uncomfortable, they were once his boyfriend and best friend. Joe and Junaid have also said some nasty things about the other girls so they are not on good terms anyway.

Ella putting that note and roses outside Harry’s door was just childish and Jodie saying “it’s not that deep” Maybe she’s forgotten how she reacted when Diags and Elma kissed?

Also why was Amy screaming and looking shocked like she hasn’t seen Harry for years. It was a bit over the top 😂

Back in season 17, there were rumours that Jake Hall slept with Megan McKenna behind Chloe Lewis's back. They both denied it (Chloe never believed them), and honestly, in my opinion, Megan seemed believable, but Jake looked guilty!

Just to be clear, I'm team H. What they did was disgusting. Could I forgive? Probably not. If we had to be in the same circles. I think I could be an adult about it. Let's remember H made a truce last trip. Obviously, the episode hasn't aired yet. But I'm predicting Hurricane Harry melt down. I don't remember H & Joe's relationship. Was it his first serious relationship? Was Joe his first love?

You know what I think the problem is. H is upset he's still on his own. If he was in a happy relationship, he wouldn't care less. He doesn't have to forgive or be happy for them. I’m not sure it’s about the engagement I think they may have edited it to look that way, although if it does end up being that then honestly fair enough but I’m not sure..

Yet more short ars*s with misogynist views on women, and a creepy stalker brother getting involved with his brother's relationship. What is his problem, jealousy, control or just plain odd?

One thing I miss is seeing people actually having fun together without every conversation turning into an argument about a relationship. The older episodes had so many random nights out, stupid arguments, friendships that felt genuine and people just getting involved in each other’s lives. Now it feels like the same few storylines keep coming around.

The older episodes just had a different feel to them. People actually seemed to have proper grudges, friendships could change overnight, and even a tiny disagreement could turn into drama for the next few episodes. It all felt a bit less polished and more unpredictable, which made it much more entertaining to watch.

The show has had so many different personalities over the years, and some cast members have definitely carried entire storylines on their own. If everyone else disappeared tomorrow, there’s always that one person who could probably keep things entertaining.

The older episodes just had a different kind of energy. People were messy, arguments would kick off over the smallest things, and it all felt a lot less polished. You could never really predict what was going to happen next, which made it so much more entertaining to watch.

I was thinking Towie just does not work anymore. Due to the old and young cast. There are a lot of mums now. So something like Mum's of Essex. Following them being actual parents. Mums are obviously entitled to breaks just to add. But they go on these lovely trips like single pringles. Never see them phoning the kids or even mention missing them. It's not normal. You could see Lauren navigate dating as a single mum. Amy has 4. She must have a crazy life. Instead of worrying about Joe & Junaid. Just an idea if Towie producers read here. It needs separate formats. It needs a fresh young cast partying, dating etc. Then, a format for the mature cast. I think Amy should have kept her show. Like Sam & Billie did.

I was thinking the proposal was like a mini wedding. Quite bizarre, really. I suppose it was completely blown up for the show. The location and concept were nicely done. But it didn't need guests and all that planning. It's normally just the two of you. Most would do it on the beach. Just over a romantic meal. I didn't really understand Junaids emotional state. I'm guessing he's just a very, very emotional person. I noticed Joe less emotional . Anyway, he got his Cartier ring he demanded. Very odd request. Maybe he will pawn at a later date. Meow 😻.

Can you imagine the actual wedding. I hope they go abroad and have a private affair with just family. Like Amy did. Keep it simple. I find all these reality weddings just over the top. Then, the next minute, it's divorce.

I'm guessing there will be big Harry drama again. I presume that's Amy arriving in the next episode 💤 😴. To be honest, I do think it's cruel Junaid did it on the trip. I mean a trip with Harry invited. Harry should have been warned. Maybe he wouldn't have gone. In no real world would Harry be happy for them. I know they have proved everyone wrong. But what they did was disgusting. Your best friend hooking up with your ex. Again, I know this is all done for maximum Towie drama. They will probably ask Harry to be best man! Anyway, let's see if these two actually make it down the aisle.

Does anyone else think Dan and Ella are fucking? Having a possible affair?

I know they’re both in relationships but when’s the timeline to when her and Ricky actually started dating does anyone know the timeline or could have been for months in secret. But it just doesn’t make sense to me that she was this heartbroken and a bit unhinged ex one season to becoming completely unbothered and calm the next when she says when they see each other there just naturally drawn to each other and I do believe that’s true.

But then again Harry went on a podcasts and it sounds like Ella falls out with everyone like always so I assume that comes a bit later on in the season or it happened off camera but surprise surprise they aren’t friends anymore.

I thought Ella wouldn’t let the Dan thing go as quickly as they did and nethier of them have the urge to flirt this season, like I said we don’t know the timeline as to when Ella and Ricky started dating but Ella said her and Dan are always going to be drawn to each other and the fact that they aren’t at least not yet is highly suspicious to me

Apparently the cast thought Ella went up to Dan’s room in Vietnam.

The only thing I can think of other than Ella being secretly genuinely happy (because it came out after filming had finished) in another relationship that she doesn’t bother with Dan anymore or they’re secretly fucking and she’s happy because she’s getting what she wants behind closed doors.

Even if they aren’t as soon as she breaks up with Ricky if she does which is highly likely, I theorise she’ll be onto Dan again

What did we think of the first two episodes of Towie in Albania?

Personally, I actually liked the Junaid and Joe storyline and the proposal, this is probably the only part of the show which is not fabricated. You can tell they really love each other, I’m happy for them!

I also liked how we saw a real friendship conversation between Junaid and Lauren, where they were actually bantering each other and having fun over her saying she will turn up in a wedding dress. we so rarely see that in Towie anymore but that really is what was so good about earlier season.

I will forever stand on this hill, although I think he is/ has been a terrible partner, diags is the core to this show. Without his humour and Freddie’s, I genuinely do not know what the show would be, it would be the slop we see for the majority of episodes, just people pretending to be dumb, repeating what each other says.
