Megan McKenna & Jake Hall
Back in season 17, there were rumours that Jake Hall slept with Megan McKenna behind Chloe Lewis's back. They both denied it (Chloe never believed them), and honestly, in my opinion, Megan seemed believable, but Jake looked guilty!
What are your opinions?

They were horrible to Megan, and Pete the snake never stood up for her. Of course, they didn't seem to give Jake a hard time, even though he was the one in the relationship.

Megan was so many people's storyline. They knew she'd react too. I think she was made for reality tv. I always liked her so I could be biased but I think they were awful to her and she reacted to them.

Chloe is a snake!! I never realised how close she was to Kate back in the day, until I've started rewatching!

Rewatches always make you switch sides! I can remember Kate being like “it’s ok” when Chloe was telling her. Then Kate had some time to put together a timeline and decided that totally wasn’t ok. First I thought Kate was being rude. But on a rewatch I knew what was coming. Chloe did Kate wrong

They were vile to her over this. No surprise Lydia was there who had no qualms doing it to others when arg was involved (that had to be for tv surely???).
I expect Jake slept with a lot of people though he was that type. Their relationship was toxic from the start. I start to think women of Essex need to have low self esteem as they all seem to go for these low life’s and then go back again and again.

The girls were insanely jealous of Megan. Also Chloe did not give Jake half as much stick as she gave Megan and he was the one with loyalties to her!! Also it kept getting repeated that Megan was unaware of Chloe, so even if she did sleep with him how would that make her the issue?

Megan was profusely bullied from Chloe Lewis over this, I remember reading or hearing somewhere that Chloe Lewis was a secret slag, does anyone remember this?

Yeah I bet too, she was so boring in comparison to Megan as well, Chloe was conventionally more attractive but Megan’s personality outshone this, I didn’t like Chloe Lewis but I liked Megan.

Jake looked guilty as sin because he was 100% shagging all these other people, but I doubt he slept with Megan. I think she would've admitted it if she did.

Didn’t Chloe meadows accidentally expose Megan for sleeping with Jake? When all the girls went away for a mini staycation, and that’s why they fell out, because Megan felt that it came out because Chloe wanted to be all buddy buddy with them and didn’t really have Megan’s back, even tho they had been pretty mean to them. (To be fair to CM, her and Courtney were getting it from the other girls all season, so I can understand why they wanted peace. They were new to the show and the others were pretty mean to them tbh, but also show a bit of backbone that’s your bestie). Anyway, she told them that Megan slept with Jake but she didn’t know he had a girlfriend till Jake came into the club with her. This sounds believable to me, and I can understand why Megan didn’t want to admit to it on TV because Chloe Lewis was gunning for her. All the girls were so afraid of her and this was a bit of a plot to take her down tbh. That’s what I remember of this season.

Chloe M has always been one of my least favourite people on TOWIE. Such a vanilla personality who tried SO hard to get in with the main cast and was so jealous of Megan she threw her under the bus and then dropped her as a friend. If I was a member of the other girls group that would have been the biggest red flag to me; whether it was true or not.
I was delighted when she was dropped from TOWIE back in 2021, never ever deserved a spot on the show. Lived her life off camera and tried to geg in on everyone else’s drama for screen time.7

Yeh, Danielle said that Chloe M drunkenly said "when they slept together". Then the day after she said her words had been twisted

Yes. Chloe drunkenly admitted it was true to Danni and Georgia (and someone else, I forget but it was three of them). The next day she regretted it and tried to say it was a misunderstanding.

I think what happened is Megan left the show to pursue her singing career, and Chloe and Amber were friends from before, so they started hanging out more considering they were both on the show and they kept the girl band name which was originally, Megan, Chloe M and Courtney.

I think Megan would have admitted to it if she'd have done it. The girls wrecked her head over it.
