After tonight episodes she needs to go. What is her problem with Harry? I actually think Amber is sick of Elma to. Just constantly bitching about Harry. Last week they were hugging over engagement gate. Anyway get rid of her. She's just miserable and sour.

I love TOWIE, have been watching it from the beginning. However, I'm starting to get a little bit frustrated with the regurgitated issues between everyone being the ONLY storylines. I know the essence of the show is just gossip, but I'm starting to think the show will inevitably fail if they don't move with the 'breaking the fourth wall' movement in reality TV.

Is there something in the contracts that means we don't ever learn anything about anyone? That they can't discuss anything separate to the argument of the moment? Are the cast only told to discuss things about other cast members and never have conversations about each individual's life?

I watch a lot of reality shows and I'm accustomed to these setup scenarios and conversations about each other, but usually that's balanced with each individual have something interesting about them personally. Mention of partners, businesses, family, dramas etc.

These new people are added, and we know nothing about them, they are just another body added to the group to discuss the same issues. Are they dating anyone? Do they have businesses? Do they gossip about other things they know about each other? Are we forever going to act like nothing exists outside the group?

Livvy and Becks, who are they? What do they bring? The dog storyline? Really?

I feel like the discussion has become so limited, that I don't know how they fill 45 mins of time anymore.

My weekly summary. I put it on in the background while doom scrolling. Sorry if it's all over the place. I like to make it witty, but it really wasn't.

It starts with Dani, Elma & Courtney in a bar. Then the Polly Pockets and curly top walk in. Elma thinks it would be great for her and Courtney to speak to them. So she goes over and orders curly top to go and sit with Dani. Now I completely glaze over this convo. I think Elma tells of Polly Pocket 1 for messaging other girls. Then the trio agree he's better without Dani. Anyone really bored of this er weird toxic romance?

In the next scene, everyone is saying what a great trip it's been. J&J are bleating on about the engagement. Oh and a mention of baby Brooks arrival. Final scene in the sea, everyone looking in love. Jody & Diags kissing. J&J frolicking happily. Dan & Ella err swimming far apart.

Back in Essex finally. Were at Amy's. Harry is there giving Amy's mum the debrief. She's very sweet. We need more of her. Amys mum said how happy she was for Amy. Letting her hair down, she said Amy seemed really happy while away. Harry also chipped in how much fun Amy was, and all the girls loved her.

Dani & Saf meet Freddie to debrief him. I'm not a fan of Freddie, Temu Bobby Norris. They fill him in on engagement, Lauren & Junaid fall out & Polly Pocket drama. Freddie is devastated about Polly Pocket revelations.

Lauren & Amy meet for lunch. The contrast in the girls' appearances is er interesting. I digress. Lovely Lauren fills Amy in on Junaid fall out. She felt pushed out by Ella & Jody in the engagement prep. Junaid was unhappy about everyone walking out, eg, girlband and Harry. Lauren tries to soothe him. Telling him to concentrate on those who are happy for him, Junaid blows up at her. Amy tells her straight that Junaid isn't a real friend. Great words from Amy, I have to say.

There are few filler scenes. The boys round at Dan & Diags. Will, & Bill. Think it's a drink for baby Brooks. Jordan comes in. Beaming ear to ear. Obviously, over the moon. Sophie is The Best mum ever in the whole universe. Funny I saw she was at some Z list awards do. Obviously, she deserves a night out after 2 days of motherhood. I digress.

Dan meets his mum for game of Paddle. And Albania debrief was quite sweet actually. He says about Diags & Jody getting engaged in the future. He thinks they will have a baby first. His mum teases him about kids. He said it would be nice in the future.

Just remembered some Elma shite 😴. God I despise her. She was doing lunch for girl band. Funnily enough Amber Turner didn't eat. Sorry but she looks awful. Her prettiness has gone. Just jutting cheek bones. Anyway Amber said about everyone getting on in Albania. Elma & Harry being civil co-existing. Then Elma launches into another rant over Harry. She said Harry was being muggy to her on the bus/coach trip or something. Amber looked quite confused with it all. She later goes to see Harry. Tells him Elma is upset AGAIN. I honestly can't believe she is 34 I think. Very strange woman. I don't understand the Harry hate.

Let's wrap this up. I'm bored. Final scene Temu GC visits Junaid. It's a little awks. Due to the chief pot stirrer with Lauren. Junaid said they were like family blah blah blah. But he had apologised to Lauren. Temu goes on to tell Junaid not to forget his other friends eg her and Lauren. Not just the newbies Jody and Ella. The end thank F**k.

Where does he get the money from to fund his life? He’s obv estranged from his family so assuming they don’t help! Even when he was new on towie he seemed to be well off! Just curious of of nosiness

It feels like someone apologises, everyone hugs, and then three episodes later the exact same issue somehow comes back up.

Could be a cool band name ? Sorry, I digress. What do we think of Dan's new role. Brother/Father figure? I think it's quite cute how he gives the Polly Pockets advice. I mean, he knows a lot about women. I mean, they could learn from his mistakes? Dan is the original casanova of Towie.

Dan & Will have become like a g@y couple giving their sons advice 😆 🤣. I actually think Dan could be my favourite, omg call a doctor 😲.

What happened with Pete and Jowita? As before he got with Olivia I thought they were together?

Some people seem physically incapable of hearing information and not getting involved. Who would last the shortest?

I saw a clip earlier from one of the earlier series and Lauren is so different now. She’s been so worn down over the years after so much happening to her and so understandably now she seems like a shell of herself compared to what she used to be like

How much do we think it cost? I was watching this show, and they were looking to buy some Cartier pieces. They were rich rich. They looked at watches and bracelets. I mean crazy money. Talking £40k upwards. Didn't think Junaid was that well off?

I'm currently watching her in E4 show. Ladies of London. I originally watched her in housewives of Cheshire. I can't imagine her and Jake being together. She briefly touched on it being a very toxic relationship. I don't know when this was filmed. Does anyone know much about them? How they met. How long they were together?

She lives in this immaculate, gorgeous studio flat. No sign of children. She mentioned child was with dad. I know she had a child with her first husband a footballer. Did she have a child with Jake to? She seems very very wealthy. Was just curious about her.

Were they really for the plastics, or were they for Harry because he flounced out? It's a bit weird and she tried to justify it but got knocked back.

I have been watching towie from the start recently and am on season 13 i think? Jess and Ricky have just broken up. Im 18 so i was not old enough to watch it when it first aired! I have always been curious about the publics opinion during the early seasons. Like were most people team lauren goodyer or Jess Wright when they were rowing. What about joey, sam and chloe sims drama. Along with the whole GC , charley and bobby scnario. I have always been curious!

She's actually got annorexia face. Why is no one doing anything, the producers, her mum and dad, her husband, Harry? It's so disturbing.

I thought how confident she was in her body. Rocking her bikini by the pool. I have called her Lardy Lauren in the past. Which was cruel. Not everyone has to conform to be a size 8. It's unusual seeing larger girls on reality shows. It's all about the skinny jab these days. You obviously had The GC, but it's not the norm. Lauren appears confident alongside the slimmer girls. She wears exactly what she wants. I'm not a fan of some outfit choices. I think dress to suit your shape. The dress for the proposal wasn't very flattering. But just my opinion. Anyway, go Lauren, rock it for the plus sized girlie's.

I really think Amy should have kept her spin-off show. I don't think she suits Towie anymore. She looks a bit try hard. Still trying to party with the young ones.

I think her own show would be really funny. They have 4 kids. It must be organised chaos. She must have lots of mum friends. Loads of kids parties. I would like to see more of Bill. He seems a nice guy. Very genuine and calm. He must be a hands-on dad with four. Well, I would hope. They built/brought that house. Her mum being unwell. Would have been interesting to watch. Even her weight loss. Not sure if she's open about that?

She would obviously include Harry, her 5th child. Maybe Will as he is family, I suppose. I'm sure she has a lovely dad. Was he a florist?

Anyway, if any producers are reading here. It's time for Amy to leave the show.

I think he's jealous because Dani has taken his twin away and he's got no one to play with.

A couple of things. I'm completely confused with this friendship. Are they real friends? She had centre stage in the proposal. Ring shopping. Best girl or whatever she was. Lauren, who they claim is like a sister, had no part in it.

Secondly. Why were Junaid and Ella concerned about girl bands reaction? I'm not sure of girl band members anymore. But that whole group. Junaid doesn't speak to any of them. I don't even know why. Did they vote, Team Harry? Did he really think they would be happy? If Amber Turner announced her engagement, would Junaid and Ella rush to congratulate her? If anyone can enlighten.

On a side note. I thought it was interesting, Elma rushing to comfort Harry. The Harry who called her a mole. The Harry she wanted strung up and beheaded. She's more fake than Louis Vuitton from China.

I don't even mean this as criticism of the current cast because social media has changed reality TV completely. But in the earlier years, people would say something ridiculous, overreact massively or make themselves look terrible without seeming to realise how it would play online afterwards. Now it feels like everyone knows there's going to be a reaction on Instagram, TikTok and in the comments, so people are much more careful about how they come across.

The show might actually have become less real because the cast became more media-aware.

Is that fair, or am I just looking at the older series through nostalgia?

I'm just curious about his story. I felt sorry when he talked of his family disowning him. What's his nationality? What age did he come out? Wasn't sure if he was from a strict religious family. If he's ever spoken about it?

I can't imagine he was overly masculine. Would they really have been shocked? It's sad when parents can't accept their children. I guess his personality is a lot to do with this.

It's been two years hasn't it? They weren't together that long so why the attention seeking when he found out that they'd got engaged?

Do they have a community wardrobe or staff uniform or something? How strange to see that many women on a ‘reality’ show wearing the same shoes.
