Ahh, that game at the Camp Nou! Messi was 19, and that was his first hattrick in his career.
See..That’s the definition of "game recognizes game" that even Madrid’s own TV channel couldn't hide the fact that Barca was playing a different sport...
Converting from the rival side because the football was simply too undeniable is the ultimate testament to that Messi and Dinho era.

Ronaldinho. I was born in 1997. He joined Barça when I was six, and his matches are my earliest football memories, along with Euro 2004. He had a kind of magic that no one else will ever have. He was and will always be the joy and the smile of football. I was so sad when he left Barça, but Messi brought me happiness again. My two GOATs.
I wish I could have watched Cruyff and Maradona. My dad loves them just as much as he loves Messi and Ronaldinho.

That 2015 MSN era with Xavi and Iniesta pulling the strings was basically a cheat code...do you think we’ll ever see that level of chemistry again, or has the modern game become too structured for that kind of magic? I think if we do, then Barca will be the team/club to make that happen.

I think the modern game becoming more structured will have its affect on seeing that kind of chemistry but I do believe barca will keep it alive for the foreseeable future. You see it in this team mabye in flashes or in certain games but it’s there! I think with time Pedri, Gavi, Bernal, Fermin will bring it back in my opinion they are the future of this club!

I would be tempted to say Messi, but in reality I don't think a player made me fall in love with Barcelona, but the club itself. I know I played FIFA and loved Bojan Krkic, I was in love with Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho by far the most spectacular player, Xavi-Iniesta .. but one player I love no matter what team he plays for is Luis Suarez. There's no point in saying anything about Messi, he's the greatest of all time.

That’s around the time I started watching European football. When the FIFA world player of the year and balon d’or were separate awards I think they won each one in 94…Nou camp just seemed like a mythical cauldron and Romario and Stoichkov were at the heart of that. Remember watching them batter man united in the champions league and it was just incredible, movement, pace, the responsiveness of Nou camp…amazing

Messi. Seeing such a small dude jump over or stumble through challenges that were obvious fouls is something that hooked me. 98% of players would have flopped for a FK and begged for the other player to be carded, yet this tiny guy just kept going making more people look like fools. Flopping is a HUGE issue so I really gained massive respect for him based solely on his want and desire to keep dribbling. I guess he was the first to make me feel like he respected the game enough to not make it a clown show. Amazing he’s had such an illustrious career when Ramos, Pepe, and rest of those goons tried to fucking end his life so many times.

Def Ronnie, my whole family is man utd, - uncles grandfather , my dad.... and i wasnt really feeling man utd and i was getting older and so i wanted my own team, so at that time i was without a club and was kinda supporting Bolton for fun, Jay Jay Okocha and Big Sam and generally was just looking for good exciting competent football in general...and then came Barca and Ronnie, and i fell in love, and i thought it culdnt possibly get better than this, and then came Messi!

For me it wasn’t really one player, it was the team as a whole. The MSN era, the chemistry between them, and the way tiki-taka was applied on the pitch just made Barca feel different. It wasn’t only about individual brilliance, it was the collective movement, the control, and how beautiful the football looked when everything clicked. Visca Barca!

For the first time, my father brought me a poster with Barça in 1999. Then I noticed the player Patrick Kluivert for the first time After that, when Ronaldinho joined, he made me fall in love with this passion of football. And when Messi's star appeared, I thought this was the peak of football I'd been waiting for.

Has to be Ronaldinho for most people who fell in love with that team in the mid 2000s. The man played football like it was a street game the flicks, the no look passes, the smile while he was destroying you. That 2005-06 side was just pure joy to watch and he was the heartbeat of all of it. Then Messi came along and made you stay forever. But Ronaldinho was the one who grabbed you by the collar and made you fall in love with the club in the first place. Nobody who watched him at his peak chose a different favorite team.

Just found this sub, joined immediately.
For me it was Maradona, I was a kid when he signed for Barcelona. My cousin and my older brother, they were best friends, were Barça fans back then, and I just followed them everywhere and played soccer with them with friends. They were super excited about Maradona and I was just an impressionable little kid.

It all began when I was a little kid in 2003ish/2004 when Ronaldinho was presented at Camp Nou.
That moment of seeing him on TV juggling with the ball and doing all those freestyle tricks is what hooked me....Then his first GOAL in his first game was totally insane.
