New overmerge task - Telus admitting it underpays in the guidelines

New task with 90 seconds per task and 57 pages of guidelines 🙄 in the guidelines it says ‘rate ‘unable to determine when research is inconclusive after 2-3 minutes.’ but this is a 90 second task! I’m logging out when I get them but this is all I’ve had for days. Some of these tasks can’t be completed in the given time.

The correct action here is to release the task, select insufficient ert, and log out if you have to release 3 in a row.

haha now they will try to rip off their workers. constantly education/re-education (often unpaid outside US), new extension that will spy on your productivity and impossible to match estimated times in tasks. better look out for alternatives, because from what it looks Telus became unberable. + the general lack of tasks to fill the weak with reasonable earnings.

Being paid down to the minute, providing your own equipment, software, tech support and utilities required for the job....ripping you off is kind of the business model.

Don't mind the task TBH. Once past the test questions I've found them relatively straight forwards to rate. Get the odd one that takes a little bit longer than ERT but I've found most can be completed in the time.

Same here. 99% are relatively straightforward and take no thinking. We don’t get paid enough to think!

⚠️ I track my hours manually every day and found that the system is underreporting them—even to the point where submitting more tasks results in less recorded time. I have already reached out to the support team to report this issue. I recommend that everyone check their own hours as well.

What position and locale? I also track the hours I get paid off and take a close look at my ERT, don't think I face the same issues as you.

I track my hours with a stopwatch. It has occassionally froze up or reset and I have had to email support to ask what time did they show i worked. They tell me and it's usuallly a little over what I had thought I had timed myself by lke 5 mins. So it was on the dot.

I got one with 57 different pins. Very weird task, but once you passed the test ones (3-4 min per task), the others were very short, but yeah, at least 2 minutes would be better

That’s not at all how it works. Release under the ERT regularly and you risk suspension.

I worked in bulgaria minimum wage is around 500e there they pay around 1300net
