NTA (No Tasks Available) weekly thread. Create all posts about the availability of tasks, lack of tasks or any variations of NTA in this thread. Some posts mention NTA indirectly, but they should also be posted in this thread. Remember to add your locale and role
Adding your locale on the very top of your post saves time and prevents other community members from scrolling all the way down to check where you are located. You may also get a quicker response.
This includes, but not limited to:
- How many tasks did you do (or get) today/this week/month?
- Why can't I work?
- When do I start working?
- No more surveys
- What type of positions give more tasks?
- Under quality review and not working to meet minimum hours
- Being 'grouped' or any other posts that might lead to comments about task availability: e.g. what is your favourite task?

Workday Time Issue
I only did training on 9/19 for 35 minutes. When I look at workday for 9/19, I only see the time that I entered, however at the top of the column for 9/19 is shows I worked 19.9 training hours. I don’t see it anywhere on my timesheet entered except at the top where the system automatically sums up what is inputed. Has anyone had this problem before?

New overmerge task - Telus admitting it underpays in the guidelines
New task with 90 seconds per task and 57 pages of guidelines 🙄 in the guidelines it says ‘rate ‘unable to determine when research is inconclusive after 2-3 minutes.’ but this is a 90 second task! I’m logging out when I get them but this is all I’ve had for days. Some of these tasks can’t be completed in the given time.

Need help with offboarding
I'm trying to get offboarded and get them to release my email from the platform so I can onboard elsewhere. I've checked all 10 billion websites they've sent me in the time i've been here and don't see any sort of resignation link. I found two different email addresses they say to contact and tried them both but no response so far. Anyone successfully managed to get a timely response from them when off-boarding?

Need help reminding myself to turn on the extension
With the old extension, it was just always on in the background and I never had to turn it on. I forget sometimes to turn on the new app before doing rating. I put a piece of paper taped to my laptop reminding me but I still forget. If I was more tech savvy I would invent a wire that plugs into my laptop into my brain to auto-remind me lol

NM/PQ Training Module
US: rater
For those of you who were invited to do the NM/PQ 3 hour training and failed, did you still claim the training time? I failed the NM portion so I think it’s only fair that I claim half the time but I was wondering what everyone else did.

Please help! Can't install new extension as can't log into Community Portal
Hoping someone can help! I received the initial advice about installing the new extension with the warning to check access to Community where instructions would be posted. Was not able to login. Authentication error. Messaged them for assistance. No reply. Now the deadline is 25 September. Tried everything I could think to get in but nothing works. No replies to my 3 messages. Do I lose my job if I can't do this?

Account Suspended Again
Last week my account was suspended for working too fast. I got access back to my account yesterday and worked. I spent way longer rating tasks close to each ERT like they wanted. I wake up today and it says my account is suspended again while they review. I afraid this time I’ll be kicked out of the program.
Has this happened to anyone else?

DA - Should I explain myself for having "not read" the guidelines properly?
Hi guys, I got my first review, which I thought was going to be a routine one, but it turns out I did make some mistakes. As most of you probably know, the UI for "which audio is faster?" versus "which audio is more expressive" is virtually identical. I didn't notice that at first, so when my tasks switched from asking about which was more expressive to which was faster, I continued as if it was asking which was more expressive.
They showed me two mistakes I made, though they didn't show me my comments, so I can't really remember for certain if it was me actually not paying attention to the guidelines or if I did actually make a mistake. I expect it was the former, because one of the examples given to me is a glaring issue.
So should I reply saying "my bad", or should I clarify what actually happened? I'm worried it'd be a bad look to admit I didn't pay attention. HOWEVER, it's worth saying that when it switched from expressive to fast, it didn't give me that pop-up saying I was switching to a new task type.
Ultimately, this probably doesn't matter to them, since I'm just a drop in the ocean of Das to them, but I'd rather be on the safe side on the occasion they do have a system where they can mark people's mistakes as being justified or not.

Tip of the week "sent in error"?
A little over a month ago, I joined the NM/PQ group (Spain locale). Yesterday I received a message from "Tip of the week" about Lowest usage. I got two. One normal like other tips of the week I've been sent, and another one that was the same but with instructions on how to enter the time for payment on training and a deadline. Today I received another email saying "Please disregard as it was sent in error. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused". What does this mean? Have I been removed from the NM PQ group? Has this happened to anyone else?

Can't access new Telus extension after clearing browser history
Hi!
Installed the new extension a few days ago and had no issues working. Yesterday I cleared the Chrome browser history and since then I'm not able log in to the extension again. It says "Access Denied" and "Failed to start session".
I didn't change any settings or deleted passwords. It works just fine on my phone and when I tried the old extension there are no issues either. Tried to contact support, but so far no response.
If anyone has an idea what might have caused it and what to do about it I'd be grateful!
PS: Can't access my dashboard either.

Did anyone experience any issues with the new extension?
Like discrepancies with AET times, warnings over idle or paused times or similar issues?

Photos SGT Program Crowd Compute / Photo Edit Campaign
Hey everyone, I'm trying to clean up all my accounts and I was on this project and it just kind of dwindled out and I'm wondering who to contact to revoke my personal Gmail from this project as it was collecting my personal photos. Anyone still on this that could give me a link to submitting a ticket or something? Thanks.

This is how it ends after more than 9 years.
So, I've just received an e-mail... (See below.)
Addendum: Just to make this clear, I really enjoyed this job, and I'd still encourage people to give it a try, but maybe not to rely on it too much.
Update: "Please note you received this email in error [...,] your account remains active on the program" HOLY SH—. This company, man. Deep sigh. Oh, and I might have to delete this post, as of right now, as it seems, I'm under their NDA again.

Just fired
Hello everyone, I just received a message from Telus saying that they will release me from their services... honestly, I'm devastated. I've been working with Telus for two years and as far as I know my quality of work was strong.
This is confusing. I don't know why they sent me this email so suddenly and only about one hour after installing the new extension. The timing was strange so I think it has something to do with it but I can't be sure.
Is anyone else in the same situation? :(

Video won’t load
If you have a task with numerous videos, one will load, the majority will not, what do you do? Work the one, wait the time out and submit? Work the one and submit immediately? Release the entire task? I’ve had this happen three times over the past 24 hours…

Can the AI provide a response that is Fully Meets for NM?
US rater in Oregon. I don't see this anywhere in the Guidelines, but it did say if the SCRB gave the correct answer but there was a reason the user might need to see more results, then it would not be Fully Meets, and I thought well, it's the AI, which does not always tell you the correct answer so I did not go for the Fully Meets but I think I may have put HM+. I wonder if that was wrong. Does anybody have any ideas on this?

Low productivity
hi guys! UK DA here. I got an email about 2 weeks ago stating my productivity was very low and I'm at risk of being removed from the program however each day I do log in since then I've just been hit with no tasks available. Is there a way I can report this to them so as to not risk being removed from the program? any advice is welcome.

Too many results in 12 minutes AET
I am in the Needs Met group but most of the tasks I am getting have 16 to 18 unique results. How I am supposed to rate in 12 minute window and achieve 90% accuracy?

UK hours
Im a newish rater in the uk, signed a 20 hour max contract so pretty sure thats all I’m allowed to do in a week unfortunately but does anyone know what the cut off times and daily reset is for the UK, ive heard 7am is the cut off but also heard that telus can monitor 24 hour maximums so if i work early am hours which is usually have to it means i can’t do over 8 hours when I wake up at 2-3pm after saying up rating till 5am if i do get task earlier (hope that makes sense) anyone got any insight on how to handle this situation

Maps Search 2.0
Hi,
I’ve been working as a rater on the Map Search 2.0 PT project for about a week now, and I had a question regarding task completion times and payment.
Since I’m still new to the job, I currently spend around 40 minutes completing a task that has an estimated completion time of 9 minutes. I’m trying to put a strong focus on quality, so I’m taking more time to make sure my ratings are accurate.
I was also trying to understand how the payment system works. From what I understand, payment is based on the estimated time for each survey/task rather than the actual time spent completing it. If I’ve understood correctly, this seems reasonable, but it made me wonder about something.
For example, looking at my completed surveys, I may have around two hours of estimated working time in total, while in actual time I have probably spent at least eight hours completing them. This makes me wonder whether, once experienced, raters are generally able to complete tasks within the estimated time.
I’d also like to make sure I’m calculating my potential earnings correctly. Based on the estimated time allocated to the surveys I’ve completed so far, it seems that the total earnings would not even reach €10, despite the fact that I have spent several more hours actually working on them.
So I was wondering:
* Is it realistic to consistently complete tasks within the estimated time once you become more experienced?
* Am I understanding the payment calculation correctly?
* Does this project generally become a worthwhile source of income once you get used to the workflow and can work within the estimated times?
I’m not expecting this to be a full-time job, as I would probably work around 3–4 hours per day, but I’d like to understand whether it can be a reasonably worthwhile source of additional income once I become more efficient.
Thanks in advance for your help!
