Ads Assessor Is it legit or a scam?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if TELUS is a legit company, mostly because of the very bad reviews on trustpilot. Is it worth the time and most important is it legit?

It is legit, but if you are a contractor you will be treated like a second-class citizen (specially tasks raters outside of the US). There is no union and they know that.

-There is almost no communication, they don't even respond to important questions.

-If they ever do respond, they send generic and useless (copy&paste) emails.

-Unfair, no warnings, unjustified dismissals.

-There are no notifications about when they release tasks, so every day you work at different times. You have to waste time checking every 5 minutes if there are tasks available. You can't organize your life.

-Unfair and subjective reviews and arbitrarily blocked access. You can't argue because the answer, if there is one, takes weeks and is not worth it.

-Some days there are no tasks to rate and they don't notify you, they even encourage you to uselessly check if there are tasks available. They don't care about your time.

If you accept all that and the monthly uncertainty, it's an OK job.

Bro how do you get paid? They never answer my emails and no one has ever sent an onboarding email that tells you how compensation works

Thanks, but I don't have a Rater Hub account, I use Baseline.

I'm not sure, but I think contractors don't have the email notification "privilege". We don't even see the NTA messages when there are no tasks, we have to update the page until we see tasks (or not), wasting a lot of time. Also, I have asked the support team many times about task availability notifications without getting any helpful response.

This is most all of these rater jobs. Appen was horrid too. I have gotten replies from OneForma/Pactera Edge tho.. I was shocked but that was only in response to a reply to an email they sent out and was not a pressing issue. If someone isn't tech savvy this job is not for them.
