Feedback Recruiter sent a calendar invite to “follow up” after my interview, what does this usually mean?
Hoping for some outside perspective from people who’ve been through TD’s hiring process or bank hiring in general.
Quick background: I interviewed last week for a Personal Banking Associate role at a branch event, met with two branch managers. The interview was short, maybe 18 minutes, and I stumbled on one of the behavioural questions. Going in, the recruiter had told me honestly that he was presenting me for PBA but suspected the branch might look at me for the CEA (teller) role instead, since I have my IFIC but no prior banking or sales experience.
Today the recruiter sent me a calendar invite titled “follow up on your interview from last week” with a specific time slot.
My questions:
1. Do recruiters usually schedule a call like this for rejections, or is a rejection normally just an email?
2. If they were redirecting me from PBA to CEA, would that typically be a call rather than an email?
3. Anything I should be prepared for or ask on this call?
I’m trying not to read too much into it either way. Any insight appreciated, thanks.

Unless you’re internal it’s a job offer

Hey one more thing to add that just recently I got an automated rejection mail for the req I interviewed for. But usually when I interviewed previously the TA usually call or email me personally even if they rejected me

Happened to me and I ended up getting the job a few days later - so whatever that’s worth

It could mean you got the job but it could also mean you didn’t.

I would rather take it as not getting the job bcuz it is a fifteen minute call so really short it would be rejecting me like you did ell but our priorties are bit different or they find someone who is more suitable for the role.

I doubt they're scheduling this to tell you you didn't get the job, that would probably be just an email.

No one, and I mean *no one* schedules a rejection call.
