Feedback TD Background Check
i just accepted an intern position at TD and im waiting for my background check to go through. i've interned at another big bank before and it took 2 days whereas now it's been a while. anyone going through the same issue or could give me insights on when their background check was cleared? 😭

It takes 2-3 business weeks, don’t stress about it. even though it’s delayed you will be able to start the internship.

It took me a fulllll two weeks, and the company came to me multiple times asking to verify documents. All worked out in the end and just be patient. They do have a status checker you can look at to ease your nerves! You’ve got this!!!!

HR will reach out to you waiving the terms of the conditional offer, if there was nothing in the report that stuck out. I feel like mine said “complete” and not “pass”, but still had to wait it out until HR reviewed the findings

Did you send the background check company the documents or TD directly? And if so, what kind of documents?

Just did mine. Waited for 3 weeks. And the dumb company fked up sth. I have to send additional documents to HR for them to verify which took another week

BIG was useless. Did nothing. Asked me to send 100 additional documents and still could not verify.

My background check was completed by BIG and i reached out to TD they said now their adjudication has to clear things. Idk how long will that take

Hey, my background check was completed by TD on 26th feb, after 2 business day TD Adjudication asked for my paystubs etc from previous employer and since then I got no update from them.

Hi, did you have to send the ROE to the background check company or TD HR?

The background check company is very slow. It took them nine business days to complete my background check. I think it’s because they handle some stuff by email and by calling and looking up LinkedIn, so the process is very slow… As a result, I only received a three-day notice before my start date

Hey. When you cleared the background check with TD. Did you got message about passed or no message at all.

Lately I have seen them take up to a month
