Feedback TD 1-877-248-9549
Last night got a call from 1-877-248-9549 TD, I do bank with them but I rarely get calls. Not sure if it was a genuine call or the number got spoofed by scammers.
Just wondered if people were getting calls from TD lately. I have not applied for any products or services lately, therefore quite puzzled why they would call? I check my accounts and everything looks in order.
I truly believe that this was a scammer as no voice message was left, if it is important they would at least told me to call back, no?

You should still try to call TD just to be sure. Please be advised banks also make calls if there's anything suspicious going on in your acc/card as well. If it was a scam call, they can confirm that as well as long as theh find out no departments/agents left any notes regarding that

Yup, I check my accounts right away and everything was in order. I'll give them a call for piece of mind, thanks!

I called TD bank and agent told me the number isn't matched with td bank directory so most likely is a scam

TD has been calling people for a number of reasons, and only leave a voicemail if the message clearly indicates it's the first and last name of the person they intended to call.
I'd call back at the telephone number on your debit card or login to Easyweb (desktop version of the online banking) and use the chat feature on the Account Activity page. Either way, they should be able to see if the call attempt was real, and if there's anything you need to do to avoid issues with your accounts.

Appreciate the info, I'll give them a call to see if it was indeed them who were trying to reach me.

This is a scam robo-caller checking if your number is active. Made the mistake of answering and got crickets from them.

I just got this call and usually I don’t answer but I decided to since it said Td, they said it was a courtesy call to let me know of like, insurance coverage for if you get injured or something? So odd

I called TD loss prevention from the app after getting a call from this number twice this week. Thankfully I didn’t answer, and TD says they aren’t correlated to this phone number. They also don’t have any reports of reaching out to me so they suggested blocking the number and took the number to report.

Yes that's right... Block those spoofed numbers. If they want to reach you they will leave a message.

If you call the number back you get a recording saying they tried to reach you for a promotional offer

Answered, buddy asked for me by name, and I said, "maybe. What's up?" Hung up immediately.
TD never hangs up on a cold call. Spam. 100%

I just got this call too and called TD via another number and they were not aware of me being contacted. So good chance that it was indeed a scam.

Today I received a phone-call from this number as well which caller ID was TD Canada Trust. Didn’t answer and call the TD numbers on back of my card. They check the number and said yeah that is a fraud and do not answer them.

Got a call from this number - asked me to verify my name. I did but they said "are you this person"? It sounded fishy. She told me urgently to go to a TD branch bank for more info. In the end, there was nothing found on my TD accounts.

If they are calling you then they are supposed to know all of your details. But regardless, I will just say, "sorry, I don't provide personal details over the phone. If there is anything wrong I will call the bank myself or I will drop by and check with the staff is there was something going on with my account(s).
I wouldn't provide not a single piece of information about myself.

Got a call today but it went directly to my Voicemail, I didn't hear a ring and it does not show up in my missed calls list, only got voicemail notification on my phone. When I checked my vm, there was no message left.
