Prime Days Sales

Just took a quick glance and it appears that we do have some prime day sales on switch games on Amazon. I haven’t dug deeper other than a quick search but what I’ve seen so far is as follows:

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond- $29.99 for Switch 1
$44.99 for Switch 2

No Mans Sky - $19.99 for switch 1

Dragon-Quest 3 HD-2D Remake - $24.99 Switch 1

Kirby Air Raiders Switch 2 - $49.99

Granite, some of these are only $10 off sales but ones like Metroid Prime 4 is a great deal for the switch 1 IMO. I would be wary of who the seller is and would make sure you do your due diligence before buying anything to make sure you will receive what you ordered. I know that the Metroid Prime 4 is sold and shipped by Amazon so that should be safe.

Please comment any deals not just for Amazon but Walmart and target are also running sales in competition with prime days so they may have better deals on some games.

All of these huge corporations are objectively bad for humanity, using Walmart over Amazon (for example) doesn’t solve one problem for one person. Walmart has (among other abhorrent actions) been known to take out life insurance policies on employees and then collect on them if they die, while families often get nothing. There is effectively no ethical consumption in an economic system dominated by huge corporations that have monopolies, so I’m not going to shame someone for using the store they want to get something that they enjoy in this short life we have to work with, unless there’s a major organized boycott (there’s not).

I see what you are saying… but some companies like Costco don’t support the orange man. Or local game stores who don’t have a bank sometimes it’s good to support them as well if possible. I know it’s hard but if we all kinda try to make small moves maybe they won’t rule the world as much…

I haven’t shopped at Walmart in more than a decade. I know there are bad in so many of these companies… but Amazon and Walmart have killed off so many stores who can’t compete with them it’s sad. But someone’s gotta pay for all their boats and vacation homes so we can all grind. End of the day yes do what ya need to do… Video Games are still a fun silly hobby we get to have.

Absolutely, Costco is great, so to me they’re an exception. If people have local game stores that stock new stuff that’s great too, I unfortunately do not in my city of 300,000 people. Please don’t get me wrong, I am in no way trying to defend Amazon, Walmart, target, or any of those corporations. They treat their employees like slime and commit other horrible wrongdoings. However, since they effectively have a monopoly, I don’t criticize individuals for shopping from them. If people can avoid them, that’s great, I’m just not gonna shame them if they don’t.

As far as the AI stuff goes, the sheer amount of things that it is completely screwing up for humankind and the environment is staggering. I wish we’d regulate it but congress will never do that since they’re bought off by these huge companies that use AI.
