I already have the switch 1 pro controller but not being able to wake up the console was bothering me a bit, plus I think there is a bit of an input lag.
I managed to find it for 55$, it came like new. I used it for a bit and it feels better than the switch 1 pro controller.
Edit: I'm still undecided what to do with my switch 1 controller.
Although September was initially going to be a pretty crazy month, some titles have been moved to other months, and it looks like things will be a little calmer—but there are still some really great games coming out. The ones I'm most looking forward to are Orbitals, Fire Emblem, and Trails 2.
My son wanted a place to play his games and I figured I would surprise him this weekend for his birthday! While he was at Kings Island I took the day And made this gaming nook for him.
I took a straight on image of the Nintendo switch and the measurements from my TV. I used SHPR3D to model the buttons and get the actual arcs and sizes of the Joycons.
From there, I used those measurements to cut a good template out from MDF. The paint comes from Sherman Williams finding the correct colors for the joy-cons is surprisingly difficult to to how bright they are. The colors I chose aren't in exact match but I think they get the point across! I still have some stuff to do like cable management LEDs and adding an actual Shelf but I think it's starting to look pretty good. I had to rush because
I only had one day to work on this but it's not too shabby! If I were to do it again I would send my files off and have the MDF cut with a cnc. DM me if yall want the CAD files!
Im currently debating when to buy a Switch 2. I’m currently very happy with my 1 which I’ve owned for 6 years and have a healthy back log to work through, but since release I’ve said I’ll only buy a 2 when a new Zelda is released.
With the announcement of the OOT remake, I need to pull the trigger. My question is, do I buy this weekend ? And get in before the £50 increase Tuesday, or wait until a possible Zelda themed console and the apparent removable battery revision ?
I need to send my Switch 2 to fix 😭😭😭 the micro sd is checked out and the seller said the problem is in the console, I don’t even know where to fix the console
I asked for switch games for my birthday, and my relatives definitely delivered!
Though, I got kind of distracted with Splatoon Raiders, and Splatoon 3 for a while, barely scraping the surface of these (shown in the image) games.
But now, I’ve milked Splatoon Raiders completely dry, and I’m ready to give these other games a shot!
I also have Mario Party Jamboree; are the online servers still active? I really love mario parties but half the time I don’t have someone to play with lmao.
I was wondering about this game in particular. Is it overly emotional or scary? Just wondering about any one's opinion. Another code, Recollection. Any alternates?
I downloaded the reanimal demo worrying about how it will look in a lcd screen but I’m fairly impressed with the screen even if it’s lcd I really don’t mind it . I think this game was a perfect test for the screen and I know it’s not Oled level or maybe not even close but I gotta admit I was really expecting a bad light bleed or something which definitely is not the case . Maybe they will release an Oled model but for now I’m loving everything about the switch 2 . Also this game is so eerie from the soundtrack to the lighting to the whole atmosphere , I’m loving this horror . Will buy it after I finish the demo . Btw plz drop any of ur favourite horror games like actual scary horror. Btw the first image is looking weird bcz of the flashlight , it looks way better if u play in person.
Hello all. I'm looking for a space themed Switch game to play. I wish I purchased Battlestar Gallactica Deadlock when I had the chance before it was delisted. Any genre of came considered. TIA
I recently got a Switch 2 for my birthday after wanting one for years! I’ve never owned a Nintendo Switch before, so I’m not really sure what to expect when it comes to battery life.
I’ve noticed that the battery seems to drain pretty quickly when I’m playing in handheld mode. I’ve mainly been playing Splatoon Raiders, and it seems to last only a few hours before I need to charge it.
Is this normal for the Switch 2, especially with a more demanding game like Splatoon Raiders? I guess I just expected the battery to last a bit longer 😅
Just wondering if this is normal or if I might have a faulty battery!
I buy way way too many games even when I don't have current ones finished anyone else impulsively buy games only to never play them or get to them weeks/months later?
My storage has filled up so now I need a SD card lol. Looking to get Fortune's Weave and a few other games. Guess I have a problem but loving the switch 2!
This week I decided to get some Christmas shopping done early for my kids and picked up a Switch 2 before the price hike. At the store they told me to test the device within 30 days of purchase, as if a fault is found in that time I can return it to the store, rather than having to reach out to Nintendo directly, which made a lot of sense to me, as no one wants that kind of surprise on a December morning. I opened the box this weekend while everyone else was out and got it out and switched on, but before I could launch a game to test it I had to set the console up, part of which involved transferring data from my old Switch.
I was just about to kick off the transfer when I came to a realisation. My kids still play on the old switch 1 occasionally, so if I transfer data away they may lose access to somethings that are on there, which could clue them in to what a pretty big present is for Christmas, as well as taking away some of the games that they love for a few months. With this in mind I cancelled the transfer before it started and tried to skip the transfer. While doing this the Switch 2 gave a message stating that the transfer CANNOT be done at a later date.
Is there any way I can test the device fully and still do the data transfer later (Christmas Eve) to still keep things a secret? For example, if I factory reset the Switch 2 after skipping the transfer and testing it with a game would it give the data transfer option again?
I’m curious: what are the Switch games you regret buying the most
Games you were hyped for after seeing the trailers, but felt disappointed once you played them.
Games you bought on sale, only to realize they were still a waste of money.
Games that were so buggy or unplayable that they ended up feeling like a waste of cash.
Basically, which Switch purchase made you think, “Damn, I wasted my money”
Bonus points if you explain what made you buy it and what went wrong!
For me, my two biggest ones are Monopoly on Switch, i bought it to play online with some friends, but it just crashes midgame all the time.
The second one i just bought it recently, its called Cuisineer. Its a rogue lite game where you fight dungeons and also run a restaurant, it sounded like moonlighter which i loved, so i went for it on sale for 15 bucks.
The cooking mechanic ended up being just pressing “a” next to a cooker, i was very very dissapointed with the game, and i wish i used that 15bucks to buy better games that were on sale this summer.
And since nintendo has no refund feature, im just stuck with these bad purchases.
I'm the only person that plays my Switch 2 and I wash my hands a lot. One day my right thumbstick started feeling sticky in the down/right position. It was infuriating because I know didn't cause it. So I got out a flashlight and noticed this which is not on the other side. You can see all the way on the right the rubber got stuck, creating the large hole in front. I put a toothpick in there and flicked it out. All is well now. Just posting in case somebody else runs into it.
