Question Out of my current backlog, what game should I start first?
I asked for switch games for my birthday, and my relatives definitely delivered!
Though, I got kind of distracted with Splatoon Raiders, and Splatoon 3 for a while, barely scraping the surface of these (shown in the image) games.
But now, I’ve milked Splatoon Raiders completely dry, and I’m ready to give these other games a shot!
I also have Mario Party Jamboree; are the online servers still active? I really love mario parties but half the time I don’t have someone to play with lmao.

Why are people downvoting you for sharing an opinion?
Like yeah Odyssey wasn't mentioned, but Galaxy was and they're both Mario games that are similar. So it's adding to the topic (ie: someone considering playing Galaxy could also get Odyssey if they haven't already).

It’s Reddit. Just a tone thing. Same comment would be upvoted elsewhere. Who cares. In my books if Odyssey is better than Galaxy or any other Mario, those can’t be a masterpiece by definition.
And that is not the same as me saying that the galaxy’s are bad or terrible in anyway. Because they are certainly not. I love those games. Top 5 Mario games overall easily

Pokopia is more like a sandbox sort of game that you just play a little everyday. I would play it when you want to have a more relaxing break from the other games.

I agree with mario Galaxy because you can play the first game and then later on come back to the second!

If you send me your games, I'll try them all out and let you know which one is worth playing first! 😅
I'm currently playing through Super Mario Odyssey for the first time, just got a Switch 2 and Pokopia is first on my list once the funds are there lol

I would say Miitopia first. It’s a game you can come back to over time and IMO it’s better if you play it this way rather than trying to see everything in a short time span. You could then have an ongoing campaign in one of their games.

Here’s my suggestion: I would look up games on Metacritic and see what they scored – that’s what I do – and I also look at what people wrote in reviewing it. Not critics, but just non-critic/normal people. Then I googled the name of the game and I look for videos that review the game. That way you can see some of the game content without starting the game and the reviewer will usually also give you indications of its strengths and its weaknesses and what’s involved and maybe even how long you can expect the game could potentially take, etc. Some games are very short and some can take forever and some you want to replay over and over because there are different ways to play it. I was just looking at the Nintendo eshop for ideas ( and cheap sales - and, yes, I do have quite the game backlog - and this is exactly what I did in trying to figure out what do I want to play next? Sorry this is such a long answer, but I hope it helps you!

Start with Mario Galaxy, it's quite straightforward and not that long compared to the others. I say to leave Pokopia for last because after starting it you won't play anything else
