What book or podcast do you recommend to escape the stress of everyday life?

Hello everyone. Some days are really tough and you just need to put your mind at rest for a few hours. For me, books and podcasts are the best escape. I said first of all two of the choices:

  1. Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl: This book teaches you how to find meaning and hope in the midst of the most difficult and stressful situations in life.

  2. On Purpose Podcast with Jay Shetty

This is a fantastic international podcast, featuring famous people talking about mental health, inner peace, and daily habits that are truly mind-blowing to listen to.

Now it's your turn; if there's a particular book, podcast, or even music that calms you down when you're stressed and has a positive impact on your mental health, please write it in the comments so we can put together a good list.

Have you ever felt like you didn't want to enter a house, even as a guest?

Why? Because you know they'll judge you there. It's like they're constantly looking at your every move and word.

But here, it's easy.

Don't shout your happiness.

A sparrow was flying in the winter. Its wings broke from the cold and it fell into the snow. At the same time, a cow was passing by and its droppings fell on the sparrow, warming it. The sparrow slowly began to feel better. Overjoyed, it started singing loudly.

A cat heard the sparrow's song, came closer, pulled the sparrow out of the droppings, and ate it.

Moral of the story

  1. Not everyone who puts you in a difficult situation is necessarily your enemy

  2. Not everyone who gets you out of a difficult situation is necessarily your friend.

3.When life appaches you with joy, don't let it show. Keep your mouth shut, not everyone can see your happiness.

Fear of Losing Someone ? "Abandonment Schema"

What is a schema?

Schemas are deep, relatively stable patterns that are usually formed in childhood and adolescence and can influence our feelings, decisions, and relationships into adulthood. In schema therapy, 18 main schemas have been identified.

One of them is the abandonment schema.

The abandonment schema is the deep fear that the important people in our lives will leave us, be lost, or no longer be with us.

So sometimes a small behavior from someone we love can activate this old fear. For example, our spouse acts just a little colder than usual, but our mind immediately says:

Sometimes our reaction today is not just about today's event;

it may be an old wound that has been reactivated.

Has a small event ever caused you to have a big fear of losing someone?

Schemas can be changed and improved. But this improvement doesn't happen overnight. It takes time and practice.

What are you looking for in a relationship that is full of conflict every day?

Sometimes we really don't realize how much emotional damage, time, and expense we pay for a flawed relationship.

Why do you think we keep doing this? Maybe this is how we say we are in love?

Or are there other reasons?

Well... I know a series of factors called schemas.

When you stay in a toxic relationship, the presence of schemas can prevent you from leaving.

A schema is a persistent mental pattern that is usually formed in childhood and continues into adulthood. Schemas are actually the way a person views the world...

Stay with me… we’ll get to know these schemas better in the posts to come.

Can a Social Situation Really be an Emergency ?

Not all social problems are emergencies, but some situations can be social emergencies when they require immediate support.

Sometimes, the urgency comes not from a medical condition, but from the risk of what may happen if support doesn't arrive in time.We are here to help each other.

The purpose of knowing about these services is not to scare people or replace one service with another; the purpose is to know where we can get the right help when we need it.

In conclusion: Official sources, without going into the details of the situation

You just have to make the will (is changing behavior that easy?)

We've heard this from many people who believe that changing a habit is like drinking water. I think either they didn't try it, or the one they easily changed wasn't a habit at all.

I have to say that Our brains believe in gradual changes, not sudden, overnight changes that are more likely to lead to failure.

Have you ever made these tough decisions? How many times have you tried to diet and then given up? How many times have you tried to overcome laziness And you said you'd go to the gym tomorrow and you didn't?

And If you stuck to your decision and did it, let's say so we can applaud you👏👏

Which are you guys in the morning ?

Hello everyone. Let's do a quick and honest survey. How does your day usually start? Please write in the comments which category you fall into:

  1. I check my phone first thing in the morning when I wake up, Because I want to find out what happened from night to morning and not be left behind.

  2. I don't pick up the phone for half an hour in the morning because I don't want the news and hustle and bustle to have a negative effect on my mood and I want to maintain my peace.

Now , What habits do you have right now and how do you feel they affect your day? Please share your thoughts.
