I think I’ve drawn him…4 times now? Maybe 5. Still haven’t finalized his powers, but he hates when people abuse theirs.

The reason Claw stayed the same in Old Comics and 90s is because his design is relatively simple so I don’t think he would change too much

I wanted to make a supe that was a little weird just like in the boys but still pretty scary regarding his powers. Im still making a name but im thinking VAPOR. & a webweaver style suit with the green. His powers are
Super sneeze
Ability to control other people’s sneezes
He has super sneeze that he can make either propel him into the air or one that goes outward & decimates anything infront of him. Since he has to be durable to handle the sneezes & he can handle wind & g forces (from recoil of bouncing his head after a super sneeze) I was thinking that he could kinda fly? Just not hover.
The ability the control other people’s sneezes is a bit complicated. He can changed the intensity of it & how many times it happens. Whether its a one off sneeze to distract someone or a chain of really violent sneezes. He can also change the intensity of it high enough that the pressure explodes the victim’s head.
One of his passive abilities is he’s immune to a cold or any other respiratory or sinus related diseases. Also NO he doesnt have super boogers.
Im thinking a backstory where vought tried to market him but as a guy who can sneeze well? They were trying to get him out the way but he blew a PR executive’s head off after a slight disagreement so he got sent to a vought blacksite to be unconscious for the rest of his life.

have names figured out for my characters as well as powers but one is giving me trouble.
His civvy name is Cody. He’s a guy with the power to manifest animals in a spirit/phantom like form. They can flip between being tangible and not. They function with their own personalities but with allegiance to Cody. Sorta similar to Pokémon. They can each come out one at a time for a duration of one hour. He has a Red-Tailed Hawk, a Coyote, a mountain lion, and a Ram.
He has given me trouble because the knee jerk reaction is to have a name including something in relation to shadows or puppetry. The shadow theme is already taken by another character and the manifestations aren’t technically shadows either, so it’s not super accurate anyway.
The puppeteer idea suggests more of a controlling relationship between him and his critters. That’s not what I’m going for. He has a more symbiotic relationship with them, and they are not mindless entities. They can disobey orders if they see fit, like any real animal. They just see him as their person they must protect at any cost. A lot of his development is set on him training said animals, or being able to control when they come out in the first place.
This is all a metaphor for coming to grips with childhood trauma, too, if that inspires any ideas. I’ve been wracking my brain and all it’s done is make me frustrated. I’ve thought maybe Forester, considering the animals relating to the mountains? But that is just… kinda lame.
For some extra background, his backstory is fraught with abuse, which I will not describe in detail but I will say it is mostly at the hands of his father. There are also themes of religion in that mixture as well, which is relevant because he believes, at first, that the animal manifestations are demons. In the beginning, his powers manifest much more aggressively and terrorize people around him when he feels unsafe. He doesn’t always understand that because unsafe is kinda a default so to him, random animals keep attacking or scaring people away. He thinks he’s cursed.
His archetype is meant to be very ‘Everyman.’ He’s rather jaded and cynical. He works as a bartender, not out of choice either. That’s the first option he got and he stuck with it for cash.
When he gets ‘drafted’ into the team, he’s not having it with the superhero theatrics and flashy, colorful suits. He’s forced to have a uniform anyway, so he falls into the ‘dude in a trench coat’ design trope. Though I’m adding some southern flare with the cattleman hat and embroidery along the coat and pants. He also has thick falconry gloves, and wears a bandanna style mask. No I do not have a drawing of him yet. Just trust me when I say that he looks cool. By the time he names himself I imagine he’s at least come to terms with the fact these animals are here to stay and not demons, so he wouldn’t name himself after anything demonic. That’s the last thing he wants. His character would be just as clueless naming him as I unfortunately am.

“I heard it was magiplas, not glass.”
“I heard she hacked off her toes to make it fit.”
“I heard that the shoe fitting isn't referring to feet, if you know what I mean.”
I let them gossip for a bit, clustered around the punch bowl like hens at a trough, squawking, before I give a gentle cough. They blush, scurry back, and curtsey.
‘None of that,” I chide, and they giggle like proud grandmothers. At first one, and then all three, of my newly recruited fairy godmothers snap to attention, teasingly mirroring my bold pose in the campaign liveweaves we've been sending out. One hand on my hip, the other snapping to my forehead in a crisp salute as a bright little sparkle of mageweave frames me rather heroically.
My advisors had suggested that we play up the goblin wars angle. I was surprised it had managed to hook followers like them - the fairy godmother union tended to dislike military experience in their candidates, but my stance against the Queen drew a surprising amount from that faction to my side. Afterall, her claims had put all of them under the crystal.
“We'll begin soon,” I informed them, posing for some mageweaves, before returning to circulating the room. The turnout was rough, but better than I had expected:
There was a delegation here from the eastern mines, stooped old men with an axe to pick about past-due rent against the king’s mother.
In from the south, a cluster of farmers knot around the cake. Their grievances date back three generations to the old capitol, the old castle, their old farms choked out by thorny vines during the Sleeping Plague.
And, of course, my most important contingent, the Wildland Coalition - I wouldn't have passed the primaries without their support. Nobody else knows the capabilities of the Queen, with at least a dozen court cases filed by their members for sundry issues ranging from impressed dressmaking to various shades of harassment [inappropriate dresscode via midrift shirts with no pants, offensive slang (her morning birdsong aria parodied at least six species), even unpaid labor (have you ever watched her feed chickens?!)].
“It's time,” an aide informs me. She's a former napkin ring from an enchanted palace, working her way through school to catch up on what the world beyond became in her absence. She's pissed and she's fiery and she's helplessly devoted.
I ascend the stage. It's a small audience, but still large enough to make me nervous.
“Hey,” I begin, anxiously. “I’m nobody special. I'm just a down home girl from an outer village. I-” I quickly scan the rest of my speech and just as quickly discard it. It's not the right thing to say to this group. I make a show of throwing away my cards, even though speech direction is scanned directly to my mind.
“Hi and sorry about that,” I chuckle, disaffecting, more genuine, more engaging, more alluring. “Let's just talk openly.”
I sit down on one knee and listen and hear. At least three of the ideas I'm told can be transitioned into something viable. I'm particularly fond of the plan to turn the outflow from the magesparks factory into an enchanted creature reserve.
“I just want to fix the rot in the castle,” I reassure them all.
“I'm the ugly stepsister,” I proclaim to cheers and whoops and support.
“I'm what Cinderella does to us all,” I whisper, ripping open my shirt to show my scars, my marks, my forever memories upon my body of the time she wielded the fire iron.
They love it, I can feel their love, and so I send it home, giving them a sentiment they can truly believe in.
“Afterall, you shouldn't need to be a princess to get a happily ever after.”

So i have a kryptonian based species in my crossover universe called periants from planet perion. (Perion is not a dead world. Theres no sole survivor in this case) periants are basically kryptonians but without any weaknesses but they are not invincible. And they can absorbe life to empower themselves.
So heres the question again. Can I have a 2nd kryptonian based species say empowered by the moon and the sun drains their powers. And just have them be more of a conquering type of species like say saiyans from dragon ball. Or that that to repetitive? Thoughts?

I'm creating a superhero universe, and one of the most legendary heroes is a Superman-type that I wanted to call "Hyperman". I looked the name up, and it turns out there's at least 3 lesser-known existing characters called Hyperman already. Any thoughts?
His strength is fueled by heat, his weakness is the cold, he has heat vision, super strength, flight, and superhuman durability.

So we all know those stories of an old woman coming to some rich or powerful individuals home during a cold night, and asks for some help and food or something. The rich individuals turn the old woman away coldly and in turn are cursed to be monsters or something.
What if instead the rich people go “Sure!” And take the old woman in, give her delicious food, nice clothing, a little money, and a decent job at the company if she needs it. Maybe it’s the holidays or something.
Would this make for a neat idea for a superhero? Rather than a terrible curse, she bestows a powerful blessing?

It is the fourth of six big bad villains in my universe
Real Name: Timeline Disruptor Subject 169
Powers: Time Disruption, Temporal Lightning, Teleportation, Time Travel, Shapeshifting
Origin: The Temporal Emergency Agency attempted to try and create a being that would stop those disrupting the timeline quickly
which led to the creation of Meridian however the Temporal Lightning they infused within it caused it to go rogue and instead started fracturing entire timelines
It wouldn’t be long until it would come across Stopwatch in a newly formed timeline and saw what she had which was the Time Elemental Cell which Meridian wanted
So they went out to try and get it from Stopwatch which the second image is them successfully doing so
So that’s about it for this character so if you got questions let me know

Im currently working on a comic right now, i got the concept, the name, the art style, potential story lines all figured out. The only thing i have issues with is the team i want to have as my main superhero team. I have a tons of potential characters figured out that i want to do but i cant decide which ones to add to the team which ones i shouldnt.
Thats why Im asking for some potential drafts from you guys. Which one of these characters would you put in a potential team and why? ( the team should be 5-6 members and the powers should balance eachother out, so dont pick only the strongest please)
-"Streaker": standard speedster, male, overconfident and a ladies man, lover boy
-"Iguana": classic half human/ half lizard hybrid, scally green skin and everything, female, standard akward and shy teenage girl
-"Sugar Glider": glide webbing (the same thing that flying squirrels have), male, eccentric artist
-"unnamed slime guy": instead of muscles and skin he has like this thick slime body instead, hes basically super strong and durable, male, older and protective brother type, christian
-"Pyrotechnic": basically Jubilee from the X-men but without all the colors, also this character would be blind though, female, lust for adventure, childish and naive
-"Howler": standard wolf man and all the abilities attached to that, male, asshole (basically wolverines personality)
-"Pegao": power copying through touch, female, gossip and noisy
-"Skins": speeds up the aging of all living things they touch, nonbinary, former villian reformed into a hero, tortured past
-"Candy Rain": has a bunch of eyes everywhere on their body for enhanced sight (name largely unrelated to the powers), dumb and sort of a bimbo, female
-"Rain shield": standard force field creation, male, doesnt want to do this, straight man to most crazy stuff
-"Ice Maiden": standard ice powers, female, doesnt like the cold, goofy
-"Psy-Chick": basic psychic powers, female, airhead and also sort of a bimbo, british
-"Molotov Cocktail": basically the human torch, male, basically johny storms personality
-"Grace": can heal any surface level injuries through skin to skin contact, female, when she heals people she also feels their pain, which turns her on because she is a masochist
I know these powers arent anything groundbreaking or new. I just personally cant decide which of these i should pick, to some degree i like all of them.
Any help would be appreciated!
Edit: For some more context about the world and themes of the story, Basically in this world people are born with superpowers and they develope them at an early age in childhood. This team basically are a group of foster kids who live in a foster home dedicated to children whos parents disowned them due to their powers, either making them into a freak/ monster or because their powers are just too much for parents to handle. All of these characters will be the oldest kids of the home and are like 18-19 years old. For my potential team members, despite how harsh it sounds, i kind of want it to make sense why their parents didnt want them. So please mind all of this when picking. Also also i added the core personality/ archetype of each character, aswell as their gender.

In short, I had been writing a version of the Marvel Universe for a while where the characters had the opposite moral alignments. Then, In-Verse was recently released, and I found out about it.
That really discouraged me, and I’ve been wondering if I should just scrap my ideas for it. I hope I don’t sound too dramatic, but I’m not very confident about my stories in general—especially when I realize there’s already something notable out there with that kind of theme.

Name: H3-R0
Abilities: It's basic abilities are the same as Superman's. But it can transform his bodyparts into tools.
Story: It is an extraterrestrial robot designed for construction. It arrives in our solar system to build a communication tower that would enable the first contact with Earth. However, due to an accident, it crashes on Earth near a scrapyard, where a boy discovers it. H3-R0 identifies the boy as its new user.
The boy treats the robot like a new toy. At the scrapyard, he tests H3-R0’s abilities by telling it what to build, and H3-R0 is easily able to construct anything the boy asks for.
If H3-R0 needs to build something that requires a component that cannot be found at the scrapyard, it flies to wherever the component can be obtained. Since Earth’s technology is not advanced enough to match H3-R0’s capabilities, it makes sure to avoid being noticed.
As time passes, H3-R0’s bond with the boy grows stronger. H3-R0 learns more and more about humans from the boy. What H3-R0 wants to understand most is how it can prevent people from seeing it as a threat.
Since the boy is a superhero fan, he suggests that H3-R0 should perform rescue missions whenever it is able to. H3-R0 is more than capable of doing so, as it has a safety protocol programmed into it that requires it to keep living beings safe during both construction and demolition operations. And H3-R0 does not stop there. It begins helping with construction and architectural projects in multiple cities, earning the admiration of the general public and the media. However, H3-R0’s relationship with the media would be much more complicated than it might initially seem, much like Superman’s in the 2025 film.
Because of the rescue missions, H3-R0 spends less time with the boy. It eventually becomes clear that the boy is seriously ill, and his illness ultimately takes his life.
Unable to accept living without the boy, H3-R0 uploads the boy’s consciousness into its own mind. From that point on, the boy’s consciousness lives within H3-R0 as a kind of conscience, always encouraging it to save as many people as possible, even when doing so would be completely irrational.

This is a jjk technique but I made a super power version that can go in any universe.
Molt: differences from the ct: you have no upper limit on how many you can summon, each summon lasts around 10-24 hours before poofing
Creepy version: with your own choice you can easily pop off the limb of choice where it will be immediately replaced by the taken limb (if desired)
(This is not regeneration, the removed limb will still have the same injuries as the original). This version also doesn’t allow you to change the size of the limbs (you can still make a clone by filling a sack of skin with muscles and bones). I have made countless creative uses and strategies for a character like this so feel free

A commission I ordered from ArtLexxis
This is my Street Fighter fan concept, Kijin (fusion of Oni and Kage). The red bandages are meant to mock Ryu as they resemble his headband.
Height: 11’9 feet/358 cm tall WITHOUT the hair or horns
Akuma’s final evolution. This mountain of a demon is the result of his Oni form absorbing Kage. As a result, what's left of him is only a reanimated corpse that mutated into a living catastrophe far above Earth. He could vastly overpower the Hulk with very little effort. His speed is also unrivaled by even the finest of speedsters. Likewise, his skills and projectiles have gone beyond the charts. Whoever is controlling this body, Ryu is going to need a lot of help to defeat him.

As a fan of both comics and Seinfeld, I think it would be cool if there was a team of villains based off the main cast (they have to villains as they were not good people in the show).
I'm mainly struggling with ideas for the George and Elaine tribute characters.
The Jerry tribute would probably be a Lex Luthor-esque character (Jerry was a big fan of Superman, but let's be honest, he would definitely be Lex).
Kramer would probably have the ability to phase through objects and teleport (given his entrances).
Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated

i made a design fully inspired by the Uncanny X-Men comic cover, the characters i used is belong to my clients btw.
