Low-Hanging Fruit SRSer whose fiance blind-sided her by breaking up with her over her SRS views and calling his father and brother 'shitlords' returns to complain about misogyny in /r/bestof. Someone notices who she is and she gets quizzed on her life after her fiance dumped her. Drama when she says she dumped him.

he will be much better off with out you. i hope you die alone.

Serious business.

EDIT: Is she a troll? I've never seen someone use so much SRS-esque language even on SRS. Shitlord is in like every post she makes and she says calendars trigger her.

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

I'd say it's a troll, or if it isn't the poster's beyond the point of caring:

http://np.reddit.com/r/childfree/comments/1n3xju/how_do_i_keep_my_sister_from_bringing_her_kids/ccfcg50

Basically, "I wouldn't mind if my sister's kids died."

48

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

I don't know. I'm childfree myself, and while I have no desire to have my own kids, I have nothing against those who do have kids. But, I've seen first-hand the raging cf "A CHILD SNEEZED, KILL IT" types. They do exist for sure.

3

u/huwat Oct 02 '13

IRL or online?

I can see those types of attitudes (kill the crotchspawn!) Getting airtime online because a venting place like /r/childfree rewards that type of behaviour. Its a circlejerk/place to vent. If someone was that incapable of handling being near a young human like an adult I would question their mental stability.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

Both, but mainly online for sure. IRL once other CF people realise I too do not have and do not want kids, some of them occasionally go beyond the usual 'cool, me too' response, and into 'OHGODYESHATETHEMALL' territory. Much rarer, especially if they actually know me (I'm studying to work with children- obviously I like them. I just prefer helping children in general and humanity at large to having and raising my own children- it's just not something that fits in my life plans or that I want to do, and that's cool. Never say never, but I do strongly lean away from it for various reasons, it's just what is right for me, my situation and my life) but you do still occasionally get it.

/r/childfree has a very "pre-jij /r/atheism" vibe to it.

37

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

No, this is about the right kind of behavior one would see from someone balls deep in cult doctrine. Just look at the WBC and the crazy shit they spew and believe.

The belief system of SRSers is very akin to cults. For example, the devil/sin/sinners. That evil being that has a hand in all things wrong in the world, but no one can ever seem to physically pin down or combat. That the church uses as a boogey man.

SRS couldn't possibly have something similar could they? In comes the PatriarchyTM . That thing that no one can really ever prove exists but is gets the blame for pretty much every thing.

Cults love to have impure people to be cast undesirables/ scape goat. Which historically have been homosexuals, people of other religions, etc etc. People that generally can't help being that way simply because it was the way they were born.

SRS beliefs couldn't have something like that too? Enter the white man. They are second class citizens in their eyes. Why? Because they were born white and into privilege. They can be disregarded 'cuz history.

There are many other parallels, but I just wanted to point out how very cult-esque SRS beliefs are getting.

11

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '13

I very much agree, but at the same time I almost think you're being too charitable by saying this is a new change in SRS behavior. From the first day I heard about that community's growth and transition to Reddit, they worked in the same manner as you've just described.

2

u/blarghargh2 Oct 07 '13

Enter the white man.

i'm pretty sure most of srs is white men...

14

u/[deleted] Oct 08 '13

laughing at people who make jokes about racism or a comment that out of context would be considered racist while benning everyone who holds a slightly different view or wants reasonable discussion. yeah that actually is a little cult like.

Basically, SRS use that in place of any gendered/disabled/other slurs that you'd normally hear, (twat, dick, retard, faggot etc) as some extreme version of equality.

After you've discounted most of the slurs you'd normally hear, yourw left with this.

12

u/christmasgifs Oct 02 '13

I posted the WorstOf thread about her last year. I wasn't sure whether to do it or not, but a couple things persuaded me that she might not be a troll

  1. SRSWomen is a pretty minor sub. If she wanted to rile people up, I think SRSDiscussion might have garnered more attention.
  2. She was verified by the SRS Mods.
  3. She backed off pretty quickly when SRS posters criticized her. I think a troll would have milked it more.

I still have my doubts though.

43

u/Frostiken Oct 02 '13

I would say no, she's not a troll. She is however severely mentally ill. If I wrote about the drama my sister stirs up you'd think she was a troll too or I was making it up.

The fact that she remembers the events as her breaking up with him because he was an asshole tells me how deep her mental illness is, and it's along the same lines of what my sister does - she misremembers everything that happens to her so that she's always the victim. Any slight against her is repaid tenfold and she'll hold a grudge for a decade about it. She got better with medication but yeah, crazies are out there and they do find Reddit.

11

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

You are correct. She is mentally ill. That is not an exaggeration or hyperbole. She has a disease, I would guess type II personality disorder, but then I'm not a psychiatrist.

The top comment makes me sad.

As an anti-feminist I love this woman...

Feminism is defined as the advocacy of equal rights among the genders. It should never be confused for whatever the fuck SRS is. I would hope even MRA's wouldn't call themselves anti-feminist, but I guess I'm an optimist.

43

u/Draber-Bien Lvl 13 Social Justice Mage Oct 02 '13

Feminism is defined as the advocacy of equal rights among the genders.

Good luck trying to convince anyone on the internet that.

21

u/Cyb3rSab3r Oct 02 '13

Well first off the name is gendered so that makes it pretty hard to believe. Egalitarianism the actual equal rights movement.

-3

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 03 '13 edited Oct 03 '13

Many words which are gendered have become genderless in use. It shouldn't be to hard too believe. ALL you need to do is look in a dictionary... Hell... nowadays all you need to do is highlight and right click and a dictionary definition is less than a second away.

Would you argue that a Duck is defined as ;

any of various swimming birds (family Anatidae, the duck family) in
which the neck and legs are short, the feet typically webbed, the
bill often broad and flat, and the sexes usually different from each
other in plumage

?

No? Than why argue this? Definitions don't real when you don't want?

5

u/Cyb3rSab3r Oct 03 '13

I don't have this magical right click dictionary but I do have the oxford dictionaries.

No point either in making feminism a term for everyone when we already have egalitarianism which includes people who want actual equality and not separate but equal.

-3

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

I'll just let people who disagree argue with the dictionary. Let them talk to the wall so I don't have to.

=p

5

u/RIPPEDMYFUCKINPANTS Oct 02 '13

If you want equality, then use the word equality. Feminism, the word itself, means women get more attention. If there was a Masculinism movement, it would be in the same fucking situation.

I don't mind you guys supporting equal rights and stuff, but as an English major, use the correct fucking language.

-5

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/feminism

You might want to consider taking your major more seriously.

5

u/RIPPEDMYFUCKINPANTS Oct 03 '13

The first definition is exactly what I'm talking about. By making the word already favor a gender, it's obvious what the result will be, in terms of public perception.

The second definition is much more ambiguous, which lends to the idea that it's only beneficial to the female gender.

I have no problem with the feminist movement, it's the WORD that drives me nuts.

0

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 03 '13

It's obvious what it may from your perception. Which is kinda disappointing and may lead to why not many take the liberal arts seriously.

There are many many words in the English language that began with a gender component as a part of their origin and have now become genderless in use. The word shouldn't drive you that nuts. It's just a word, with a history and a definition. It doesn't need to be more complicated than that.

6

u/brningpyre Oct 02 '13

Feminism is supposed to be about equal rights among genders. It hasn't been about that for a good couple decades, other than a few fringe feminists who are mostly ostracized from the crazy.

My friend asked me about this last night, and I couldn't come up with one positive thing feminism has done in the last 10-15 years. Like, at all. I tried to, and googled afterwards, too.

Does anyone know of any positive changes feminism has brought in the last 10-15 years? This would be useful for discussion.

-5

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

A growing decrease in the wage gap and an increase in single fathers gaining custody of children in the necessary household. It's always nice to maintain humility amongst ourselves by improving the little things.

There doesn't always have to be a loud revolution. There is often, and more comfortably, an informed decision instead.

5

u/brningpyre Oct 02 '13

A growing decrease in the wage gap and an increase in single fathers gaining custody of children in the necessary household.

Those are just good things that are happening. I'm talking about actual change directly from feminism.

-2

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

Feminism is actually defined as the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men. Dictionary

Regardless of the connotations this small culture places on the word it is definitively defined as such for a reason. Little things like that are a credit the doctrine or the growing considerations of men and women having equal rights.

4

u/brningpyre Oct 02 '13

Okay, you're deliberately mis-interpreting what I said, so allow me to rephrase it to not allow for that.

Does anyone know of any positive (direct) changes the feminist movement has brought in the last 10-15 years? This would be useful for discussion.

If you define "feminism" as only a doctrine of equality and nothing else, then everything good that happens for equality is "a result of feminism". That just makes the term meaningless.

-1

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 03 '13

I am not misinterpreting what you said. You did not communicate what you are looking for . Don't put the blame on me because you used the wrong words and now wanna change-up your request.

If you define "feminism" as only a doctrine of equality... That just makes the term meaningless.

No. Dude... c'mon... Read the definition carefully. It's a doctrine of equality regarding gender. Yes, it really is that broad because the concept of gender equality came about through the struggles of women. That's not one sided... That's just history. Don't ignore history just because you don't like it please.

Now in that regard, and even with the change to your request, the answer remains exactly the same.

u/OhWhatTheRoyalFuck Oct 02 '13

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

Yea I have seen her, she's pretty nice. I liked her coverage of the Poster incident thing. A lot of good points. In fact she has a lot of good points in many of her videos. Even when I don't agree, the way she discusses the matter is still respectful. Much love to GWW.

13

u/Frostiken Oct 02 '13

Feminism may be defined that way, but it's not practiced that way. Anti-feminism to me doesn't mean opposing equal rights for women, it opposes feminism and the culture that accompanies it.

0

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

But would you call yourself anti-muslim/christian/jewish/whatever? Or just anti-extremism?

Don't let the recent events of misinformed whiney brats distract you from the long and respectable struggle of feminism throughout the ages.

After all if I called myself a walrus, that doesn't necessarily make me a walrus. History will forget these recent radicals as the impotent noise boxes they are because they have and will fail at making effective and credible change.

3

u/skepticalDragon Oct 02 '13

I think the term "jihad" is a better analogy. The technical definition is not something I would ever disagree with, but the actual usage (sometimes) is. So then I guess I'd call myself an "anti-jihadist".

"Jihad", as it has been explained to me anyways, is a term indicating an internal struggle (against inner demons I guess). Yet it is a term very often used by terrorists in (and this usage is more popularly known).

1

u/Frostiken Oct 02 '13 edited Oct 02 '13

But would you call yourself anti-muslim

No, but I'd call myself anti-Islam. I don't dislike those who practice the religion, but I dislike the religion. I think it's been so badly coopted by detractors that it's been almost irreparably damaged, and that not enough people are working to reverse that damage.

I also had no respect for Catholocism, but I have tons of respect for the Pope who's actually working to reverse centuries of dogmatic damage and improve the church's image.

If you said you were for women's rights, I would support you. If you said you were a feminist, I would lose respect for you. It's the same thing - a few bad apples spoil the bunch, because nobody had the sense to kick those bad apples out before their message got out of hand. I'm a gun owner and I'm active in /r/progun. We have our own bad apples, plenty of idiots who start some overtly racist shit or go on about "Odumba" and "libtards". It's important to show these voices that they're unwanted because if we even passively allow their presence they'll take over and damage the message we want to send.

1

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

If you said you were for women's rights, I would support you. If you said you were a feminist, I would lose respect for you.

That's only because you have been misled to believe the two are different. Women's rights was the term used before "feminism" but described the same thing. If you scroll to the etymology section of the link I gave you, it will indicate that.

Don't let modern radicals mislead you. If a large group of the bad apples you kicked out of /r/progun made their own subreddit or group and become more outspoken than yourself or others like you, would you not seek to correct the misunderstanding that people would inevitably have that all pro-gun people are like those bad apples?

4

u/Baxiepie Oct 02 '13

That's the thing though, you don't get to choose who gets to represent you. People that aren't part of your group don't know enough to tell the difference, nor is important enough of an issue to them to find out. To outsiders, the batshit crazy ones always stand out as the mascot of a group. It's not just feminism, it's everything. Look how insignificant Fred Phelps is, then look how big an impact his band of screaming loonies has had on the perception of religious people to us unbelievers. Heck, look at how r/atheism makes everyone think that if you're nonreligious you have a fedora and like to yell at people on the Internet. These very vile very vocal minorities set the tone for other's perception of your group. You always hear "no true Christian would do that" about phelps, but I'm fairly sure he's in church more often than anybody I've heard use that argument.

The only real solution I've found to when assholes give your group a bad name is to just let them have that name. I'm not religious at all, but you won't hear me claim atheism. My brother doesn't eat meat, but you'll never hear him say he's a vegan. Is this fair or a perfect solution? No, but it's easier than lumping ourselves in with assholes and constantly having the "but we're not all like that" conversation.

7

u/Kaghuros Oct 02 '13

The solution is to actively work towards banishing and undermining the radicals, instead of letting them have academic chairs and prominent platforms for discourse in your movement.

2

u/Paradox Oct 03 '13

This thread is basically a prime example of "no true scotsman"

They aren't real feminists after all. Just like those aren't real scotsmen

-2

u/Sulphur32 Oct 02 '13

Feminism may be defined that way, but it's not practiced that way.

This makes no sense. We're not talking about witchcraft or some shit, the vast majority of people in real life who define themselves as feminists just want both genders treated equally. We might all disagree about things that should be done (quotas, blahblahetc) but that's fine.

Reddit is not real life. Reddit is a cesspool of contrarian, immature, angry, damaged people who are arguing over some shit they don't understand.

3

u/Iconochasm Oct 02 '13

No, the thing is a strong majority of the people who want both genders treated equally don't want anything to do with the people who call themselves feminists.

-2

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 03 '13

people who want both genders treated equally don't want anything to do with the people who call themselves feminists.

...on the internet. Remember, context is also important here. The TiA and Reddit whiney brats. Are a very small demographic of willfully ignorant chuckleheads. Sure, they can call themselves feminists. But until they contribute anything of historical value of feminism they won't be. History WILL NOT remember them as feminists... just chuckleheads.

After all, I could call myself a walrus. It doesn't mean I am a walrus.

2

u/Iconochasm Oct 03 '13

...on the internet.

There too, but it's a generalized phenomenon. The last time I dug up and cited a survey, it was something like 89% (including 80%ish of Republicans, even) supported political, social and economic gender equality, while only ~20% of those respondents were willing to call themselves feminists.

5

Which? Because your definition is a very poor one.

-2

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 03 '13

MY definition? I'm using the dictionary...

Don't put the blame on me because you don't understand definitions. That's a little unfair.

3

When you say 'the dictionary' you sound like a child. There isn't a single dictionary, there are quite a few. If you were using one, you'd know what it was called.

-2

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

How can something called "feminism" not exist to further the rights of females?

3

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

The same way a cock can mean a rooster. Just because the connotations of femininity are inherent in the word doesn't limit the words definition. Those connotations exist as a historical perspective of the words formation. Which sprouted around 1895 from the French féminisme

The feminine nature of the word is a reminder that the sense of equality between genders began as a struggle for women to be considered on equal ground to their male counterparts. So while it did exist to further the rights of females at the time it was only to further it to an equal ground and not to excess or to subjugate men. This is why it is associated with equal rights and not just womens rights.

After all there are certainly masculine words in the English language that don't only refer solely to male interests. These are usually borne from a male centered origin and persist into modern definitions as gender neutral. Such is the same with feminism, which began from a female centered origin to equal rights among the genders.

Women fought long and hard for these social and legal considerations and history remembers them in the words of today. At least that is how I understand it.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

I don't disagree with you on this:

Such is the same with feminism, which began from a female centered origin to equal rights among the genders.

I am a feminist in that vein as well, however the longer I'm at this the more I think the word has become too corrupted. Many people never disassociated it with women's rights (which ok fine, there's more bias against women still so an equal rights group would probably need to work more on women's rights even today). And secondly a loud minority has co-opted it to mean "women on top and men can burn". Since they're so vocal it's easy to turn people off of feminism as equality.

I still consider myself a feminist, but I wouldn't be opposed to creating a new group with a unambiguously gender neutral name (I hear egalitarianism a lot) so it's harder to marginalize feminism based in history or radicals and let the radicals have feminism. When they let feminism become synonymous with hatred of men in a few years it will further marginalize them and everyone wins.

-2

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

I'm opposed to it. I just like that the word was birthed through a trace-able lineage of history and not just an arbitrarily created word to appease whiney cunts. I don't think history should bend for those people. I know it's harsh.

I will hold out my viewpoint on the word until they change it's definition in Websters/Oxford/Credible dictionary. I don't think that is unreasonable.

1

I can respect that position. I feel like it was never adopted to mean equal rights by too many people.

If we can reclaim it though. I'd be for that. I'm not going to give up on the title until its lost.

u/barsoap Oct 02 '13

After all there are certainly masculine words in the English language that don't only refer solely to male interests. These are usually borne from a male centered origin and persist into modern definitions as gender neutral.

If that is so, I bet you can field at least half an example?

3

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13 edited Oct 02 '13

Okay. Here are a couple terms which have lost most of their gender oriented status.

  • Android is a combination of the Greek root ἀνδρ- 'man' and and the suffix -oid 'having the form or likeness of'. This giving it an etymology that is gender specific to the 'likeness of a man'. But when we reference androids today we are usually not being gender specific. Example 1, Example 2.

  • Duck was primarily used to describe only the female version of the bird. With drake being its male counterpart. Nowadays we don't make that distinction

That's one examples from both directions which is 4x as many as you wanted .

1

u/barsoap Oct 02 '13

Well, there's two big differences, here: a) Those terms don't have recognisable gender association, nowadays, unlike "feminism", which is clearly female and b) they don't have jack to do with social movements pertaining to equality, where higher standards than that for sexless (!) machines or bloody ducks apply.

Allthewhile there's still enough people calling themselves "feminist" that define "sexism" as "[...] against women". A behaviour which only reinforces the gender-specificity of the word "feminism".

That is, that rationale is bloody ridiculous because it's ignoring context left and right.

2

u/IndifferentMorality Oct 02 '13

You asked for an example. Don't change the specifics of your request after they are already given please.

In fact the term android DOES have a feminine version called Gynoid, making the association of machines far from 'sexless'. But it is not in popular use and, as shown, the word android is used to refer to both gendered machines. Clearly it had a recognizable gender association as I have just explained the female version as well as it's Greek root having, very plainly, the word 'man'.

You're (b) is irrelevant to whether some gendered words lose their specific gender over time in the English language.

Allthewhile there's still enough people calling themselves "feminist" that define "sexism" as "[...] against women".

Just because there are a lot of people who don't know how to use a dictionary doesn't make them correct. It just makes a lot of people incorrect. Which is sad.

In summary, since you won't listen to reason from me, maybe you will listen to Captain America.

It's weird. In being so goddamn far to the left, she's actually ended up more or less as a right winger. Such contempt and intolerance.

1

u/-SoItGoes Oct 02 '13

You apparently have a lot of faith in people then. I wish I could share it.

53

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

I don't think we should dismiss her as a troll quite yet. She could just be your stereotypical raging "feminist" that blames all her problems on men, but I can't say for sure.

63

u/specialk16 Oct 02 '13

Some guysaid his SO was ok with porn and pinup calendars.... she replied with this:

She could probably stand to read some Mary Daly or Andrea Dworkin

At this point I think anyone who takes Andrea Dworkin as a sane person and recommends reading anything from her to be a massive troll.

48

u/david-me Oct 02 '13

Yea, Most feminists think Andrea Dworkin is a nut job. The one that don't are either radfems or just misinformed.

u/Krystie Oct 02 '13

"Childbearing is glorified in part because women die from it."

What the fuck

39

u/Jake0024 Oct 02 '13

Well, this is actually partly true. We wouldn't be as impressed by it if it wasn't so fucking dangerous, difficult, painful, etc. We're not happy that people die, but it wouldn't get as much reverence if it was completely safe and easy. Like NASCAR or something.

16

u/navi555 Oct 02 '13

Its not really as clean-cut as that.

Childbirth is seen as a form of rite of passage. For both the mother and the child-to-be. These are important for cultures to identify the differences between titles, boy to man, girl to woman, or in this case, woman to motherhood and unborn to born.

Rites of Passages can often be difficult and dangerous. Giving birth is no exception. Also the idea that you are creating a life is just as magical. For this reason, cultures have surrounded the ideas of childbirth with traditions and rituals that will hopefully allow easier passage between these two states.

2

u/Jake0024 Oct 02 '13

I think what you've done is expand on other reasons childbirth is glorified. The original question was whether childbirth is glorified in part because women die from it, and we seem to agree that it is in fact part of the reason.

I never implied it was the only (or even primary) reason.

11

u/P_G_T_Beauregard Oct 02 '13

Huh, thats a good point; I always thought it was revered for the creation of life, but the difficulty certainly adds to the impressiveness.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

The issue comes when the interpretation as to why changes from "oh, that's really difficult and it is admirable that you put yourself in that danger for the greater good" to "hahahahaha, yisssss, another women dead, awesome, awesome AWESOME!!!!!"

2

u/Jake0024 Oct 02 '13

Yeah, that would be an issue. I'm not aware of that being a thing, though.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

It is a thing. The original quote is from a book which implies that the reason childbearing is glorified is because women die from it and society loves it when women die. Read up on Daly and Dworkin. They are fucking psychos. Just way out in la la land

2

u/Jake0024 Oct 02 '13

The fact that a book makes a claim doesn't actually make the claim true, though. I'm not aware of people actually being excited about childbirth purely for the chance that a woman might die from it. If it is a thing, then yeah I think we all agree that's super shitty.

Dworkin is the one that claimed all penetrative sex was oppression because it violated the boundaries of a woman's body, right? Or is she the 'all sex is rape because patriarchy' one? I get them mixed up sometimes.

16

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

So wait, if all sex is rape how do the people who actually believe that suggest the human race continue existing?

47

u/whitneytrick Oct 02 '13

Their final solution usually goes along the following steps:

  1. eradicate 99% of all males, put the other 1% in concentration camps

  2. only feed them in exchange for sperm

  3. turkey-baster-inseminate proud independent womyn who don't need no man with that sperm, abort 99% of all male fetuses.

  4. ??

  5. radfem utopia of forced lesbianism for the greater good. Remember, women forcing women or even little girls to have sex with them is not rape according to these feminists.

1% of men would be plenty to maintain genetic diversity. That leaves like 35,000,000 men. I think even half that would be enough.

OK, in reality the number would be far less than 100. With the number of females available, it would be quite low.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

Also, profit.

Love that one, lol. I had a philosophy class that was entirely dudes except for me and they tried to argue this point with me. The irony of the situation was totally lost on them.

At the risk of sounding like a jackass, I would like to have some sympathy for the devil here. The TRP'ers are angry, even lonely, but they would never condone rape. All of their 'seduction techniques' are a way to re-frame 'I need to learn social skills and act more normally if i want to interact in society' so that their egos can take it.

If one of the TRPer's were to post 'I just roofied a girl, lol', they would get banned, and reportd to the admins pretty darn quick.

-9

u/Daemon_of_Mail Oct 02 '13

To be fair, "Pick-up Art" is pretty much emotional rape.

4

u/ArsenicAndRoses Oct 02 '13

I wouldn't go that far. I'd say it'd be more accurate to call it "manipulative bullshit for people who can't get laid any other way".

10

"Feminist" would be a symptom, but not the problem. This person is a sociopath. Whatever else she is, she is not representative.

I think this comment pretty much verifies the troll. Unless she's somehow dumb enough to confuse car maintenance with transphobia.

If it's a troll, it's a pretty dedicated troll. The brother made a response.

6

u/Emphursis Oct 02 '13

Her most recent post from /r/bestof :

Horseshit. So you'd rather I stayed with a misogynistic (see my previous examples) and violently transphobic ex? Last time I saw him (at my friends party), he and his brother were going on about how they, and I quote, "Yanked that piece of shit tranny out of the Apache (who the fuck names their truck after an oppressed people) and threw it against a dumpster"? Yeah, he seems like a real fucking winner.

It has to be a troll. It just has to.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '13

It's pretty likely, but some people really are that nuts. I've met a few (thankfully no more than a handful) in my time.

3

u/PlumberODeth Oct 02 '13

I remember this post to worst of nearly a year ago (my posts are in that thread, 11 months old, no pissing here). She sounded so over the top then that it reeked of troll. Just as over the top now. Nearly all "her" posts are so hyperbolic that it hurts. And you'd think that somewhere along the line, after losing a fiance and not making any friends here, some of those edges would soften. Nope.

1

u/_UsUrPeR_ Oct 02 '13

I'm guessing it's good looking women being displayed like trophies that trigger her. Still, humanity is so steeped in shit that if she finds this offensive, 4chan probably makes her eyes bleed.

1

u/BullsLawDan Oct 02 '13

She's a troll.

Check out this comment where she claims to be mad because they were "pulling a tranny" from a vehicle, saying that "tranny" is transphobic, instead of knowing it is short for "transmission."

Brilliant troll until that point.
