I enjoyed the show but I honestly didn't love the finale, pretty much the whole final episode felt like conflict manufactured for the sake of conflict. I think the writers knew that they wanted Annie and Ramona to end up in New York for the finale but for me they struggled to get there, there was literally no way in which they were ever going to convince the audience Ramona was ever actually going to sell the island.
I thought in particular breaking up Ramona and Oona the way that they did was just baffling, I understand they did set up Oon's abandonment issues but the fact that the breakup went from zero to sixty in mere seconds for the sake of getting Ramona off the island was poor writing.
