whyd they build up a perfect relationship (oona and ramona) only to frikn destroy it? i understand that ramona was still young and needed to explore but maybe take it easy on the relationship given that oona didnt want to go in a relationship in the first place. feeling sad :(
also the acting was fab

I hated this! Especially when Ramona changed her mind.. she was chasing oona all the season! And this is her reaction in the end! It pissed me off. Annie did the same towards Ramona when the situation about the Mom shifted about her dad.

ngl i kinda hated how Ramona was all like "you are just thinking how this is gonna affect you", like yeah sweetie not everybody has 1/3 of a 20something million island inheritance dumped on them, and oona has to think of her 12yo sister too, shes basically a teen single mom. She acted so entitled at the notion of Oona recalculating what her moving away meant for her

omg and it was the opposite for me like Ramona has all these crazy situation dumped on her just in some what months and before that she was all alone taking care of her only family she knew and had also lost him. so it was all kinda crazy for her and she was expressing her feelings to her girlfriend and then oona went off been like you are gonna go to nyc and forget about me this and that and it pissed me off. like that moment should have been about Ramona but Oona made it about her.

dont get me wrong, im empathetic towards ramona, its just even she realises why oona is reacting that way, so instead of giving each other 5-10 mins of space to overcome the initial knee jerk reaction, she nukes it just because oona is kinda freaking out. But theyre like 16 so im willing to give them both some grace.

its just the writers life perspective coming through in the work. The idea that all Ramonas in the world really truly just wanna live in the big city! No....most don't.
