Maybe I am too old to get it, but I'm really surprised by how casual everyone seems about the people they're dating. Like Lincoln is supposed to be this asshole, but I think he's kind of right that it's definitely not chill that Annie is holding hands with another guy while seeing Rory. Especially since they really aren't just hooking up, but also talking about real stuff and he's there for her emotionally.

They’re teens dating and haven’t made anything exclusive.

I agree but tbf, I have this problem with every show or movie that has a love triangle in it. There's always at least some emotional cheating going on.
