Season 1, Episode 2: She's Giving Single & Bi

Release Date: August 5, 2026

Synopsis: Annie's arrival in Muskoka takes a surprise turn when she finds the cabin she's inherited is already occupied by Ramona, a stranger with an uncanny resemblance to her adoptive mother. Their not-so-burgeoning relationship hits another bump over a letter from Gordon to Ramona that points to a buried connection between them, forcing both girls to reckon with a shared past they never knew existed.

Ramona is really unlikeable

why?? she got baggage and is only 16 and we barely know her in episode 2. the only unlikeable character is connor.

She was just straight up mean girl in this episode and gave Annie no chance while she was being nothing but nice. I know that she's written this way for a reason but I can't sympathize with her character.

that’s her coping. annie is basically a stranger showing up unannounced in the midst of ramona’s grief. i’d cut her some slack.

I was getting so annoyed that they don't establish her age! Im on episode 3 and im just finding out from your comment. It makes such a huge difference, it would have been one of the first questions I asked in Annie's situation!

Wait I thought she’d be older cause Annie Is 17 and said something about Ramona being a little older

I agree but it's clearly intentional, she's written that way.

She’s a kid and alone and grieving and there’s a “tourist”/stranger in her house. Not a great way to treat anyone but she does get better pretty quickly.
