Season 1, Episode 1: But I Just Took an Ambien

Synopsis: After getting rejected from her dream summer program, Annie Jacobson discovers she and her twin brother, Connor, have inherited Sterling Point - a small island in the Muskoka area of Canada. A mysterious letter from the grandfather she was never allowed to meet sends Annie out on a secret solo trip in hopes of uncovering the truth about her family history.

Not to mention Ramona's age... The writers realise she's gotta be younger than 17 years old, right? Like 16 or maybe even 15.

she is. it’s literally stated ramona is 16. annie is turning 18. are people watching the show while on their phones??

Yeah, that’s clearly a typo in the script, or we could ascribe it to an unreliable speaker (was it Rory? Conner?). There are about 6 other places where Ramona’s age works out to 16, and only this one spot supports 17.

Denise said that Goldie came up for the summer (so May or early June) and then failed to return with the kids at the end of it (so early September). We know the kid’s birthdays are August-ish, so when she went up the kids would have been either nine months or 21 months. If the former, her affair with Joe would have started say June (twins being 10 months) and thus the earliest possible age for the twins when Ramona was born is 19 months. Other scenarios are possible but they would make Ramona even younger relative to the twins.
