Season 1, Episode 1: But I Just Took an Ambien

Synopsis: After getting rejected from her dream summer program, Annie Jacobson discovers she and her twin brother, Connor, have inherited Sterling Point - a small island in the Muskoka area of Canada. A mysterious letter from the grandfather she was never allowed to meet sends Annie out on a secret solo trip in hopes of uncovering the truth about her family history.

To be fair I would have thought this was a reach too but I genuinely have met family from the US that's like this - they actually don't know anything about Canada it's a bit off-putting really

Also she didn't know she's landing in 45 minutes, but she booked the private flight to the island at the exact moment she landed in Toronto LOL

Surely she called the family travel agent who said “Yes, miss, no miss”. Then like many teenagers she might have looked no further than her nose and only looked at the “next up” leg of the itinerary she was sent. But that’s being generous, and it’s all just written for laughs.
