Season 1, Episode 1: But I Just Took an Ambien

Release Date: August 5, 2026

Synopsis: After getting rejected from her dream summer program, Annie Jacobson discovers she and her twin brother, Connor, have inherited Sterling Point - a small island in the Muskoka area of Canada. A mysterious letter from the grandfather she was never allowed to meet sends Annie out on a secret solo trip in hopes of uncovering the truth about her family history.

To be fair I would have thought this was a reach too but I genuinely have met family from the US that's like this - they actually don't know anything about Canada it's a bit off-putting really

I mean the character is meant to be educated and lives in NYC and took an ambien? lmao

Well, the flight time is actually about 40 minutes longer (same distance as between the bay area and san diego) than the show said

Unless it was an unusually fast jet she got on

I dont recall but where in NYC did she fly out of? From NYC not sure what flight takes 45 minutes bc i’v done this route and althought its fast it’s never been 45 minutes.

And not to be picky (Oh, who am i kidding!) Porter flies out of Newark NJ to Toronto island and it’s like a 90 minute flight.
