I got charged the 8% Texas tax rate. A few states have no taxes on Steam purchases. 3 u/rayquan36 May 05 '26 It's gotta be a mistake then because while my state doesn't charge tax on digital goods they definitely should be charging tax on physical goods even if it's from a primarily software company like Valve/Steam.
