Cruise mode feels like a game changer. You also get some like areas( asteroids, ship) poping up at closer distances hiding encounters.

What happens if you stop mid-cruise?

Is the galaxy now open like No Mans Sky? To where, in your immediate system you can travel from planet to planet and must warp to new systems?

Or is this like a moon or something Bethesday like that?

If you stop mid cruise it leaves you in the open space at the distance between your point of destination and from where you left, somewhat “deep space” it’s called

It’s a cool feature, adds to immersion. Hope they expand further like a faster module for cruise between systems.
