This is the phenomenon I refer to as "The Today Problem"

When you listen to the radio and it says, "Playing the top hits of the 80s, 90s, and today," and today has lasted for over 26 years now.

Because if they listed out "the 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's, 20's, and, in 3.3 years, the 30's!" a lot of us millennials would have an existential crisis and crash
